He is a coworker and was pointing to let me know to pass on the right. I gave him some grief that it looked like he was giving me the finger

Had a great day. Unfortunately had a small incident and broke the front lip.

Thanks. Believe it or not these are the pics of me getting ready to pass everyone on the straight Granted I do not have the straight away speed to take these cars but they all let me pass for one reason or another. The NSX driver was fairly inexperienced and could not drive the line necessary to carry speed through the corners. The GT40 was not running as well as it should.

 

O hahahaha i looked closer and noticed he wasn't giving you the finger lol but yes tough competition sweet cars

It is a Superformance GT40. Good thing I know the guy in the STi He is actually pointing for me to pass him on the right. But him giving me the finger would be a better story

It definitely sucks and hopefully it gets fixed soon! I had an awesome day so no regrets

nice love your car ... that ford gt40 looks good ... look how low it is compared to the 8 and even the lotus

 

There is a back straight that is not exactly straight Not sure why no one went back there to take pics.

Nope It happened in the first of four sessions and it never gave me any issues.

well thats good , hopefully you can get it restored with new resin,,,

 

I have insurance money coming to paint the front bumper. If the lip is not repairable then I have considered getting a new bumper

 

^or just get the lip painted black if the cf isn't fixable

I bet it would look awesome

 

Have you seen the pics? I was going to PM you and Rotr8 to see what you guys think if it is repairable.

 

yeah I saw them

it's a tough call really from looking at the pics
as long as the cf weave isn't ruined, it should be a fairly easy fix

 

By far the nicest brilliant black on this site hands down man. Good stuff.
