them little hatchbacks can be VERY fast on tight, twisty roads already. they are are light and have about a decade of development behind them. ive been worked by EGs at streets of willow several times in all kinds of "superior" cars.

take that + rain, the RWD rx8 is gonna be in seriouse trouble.

everyone knows Keichi Tsuchiya is a better driver anyway...hahah

ok orido is badass too, just trying to find an excuse for this sad sad video. The feed rx8 is typically rated high on BMI and FF civics usually do pretty shitty on their touge runs, but I guess this EG was just badass..

FEED raced that RX-8 NA a few months ago in the touge battles and got owned by the Amuse S2k. It was outclassed seeing how it was only 200whp versus the Amuse 300whp.

Looks like they just plopped a turbo kit in it and brought it back. I am not suprised to see it get owned.... those civics are a flippin monster and has been on the best motoring for years.

IMO, FEED needs to quit entering their half-*** cars... and next time they come.. come to win.

I can't wait to hear the translated version of this, to hear what they have to say at the end.

c'mon dude, no fanbois on this thread please... you can't pour syrup on **** and call it pancakes.

I agree with the rwd on rain comment though at the same time I think FEED should have kept the car NA I think the turbo ruin the balance of the car. Not sure it would've helped but with NA you can just mash on the throttle through turns maxing out every gear doubt you can do the same with the turbo especially through the turns.

this one is pretty interesting, amuse s2k vs RE Rx7

Out of all the touge battles I've seen over the years, I've never seen anyone get owned that badly. But as Jason said, by the way Orido was driving, it seemed as though the turbo messed up the overall balance the car had going. I know it was raining, but it seemed much faster through the touge when it was NA. Tsuchiya is one of the best rain drivers out there, so that probably helped too.

What the hell was up with that? I can't remember seeing anyone actually crash, but he crashed twice. Must have been drunk.

Probably something similar to the Trust/GReddy kit. Looks to be the same, but with a few enhancements.

you do know Amemiya got like 4-6 of those blue REsuperG FD's right? all with different specs... 20B... 13b-rew... 13b-re...and so on... they have different size turbos too... so.... and a FD would whoop a RX8 anyday.

Amemiya san also has a FD with individual throttle bodies....MMmMMm now if someone can only build one for the renesis. Actually, I have the latest issue of hyper rev RX8 and it shows one of the Panspeed cars with an ITB setup.
