Tustin RX8 meet PICS inside

seriously those pics make the wing look bigger than it really is in person. although its not really my style, i guess if i had a more "extreme" kit on, a lip spoiler wouldnt look right on it either. the kit makes the car bigger in person and the wing didnt look too big on it because of that

I wonder if the manufacturers will ever try to put an end to the outlandish upgrades people do to their cars. If you think about it, it diminishes the cars respectability in the eyes of the general public. If there is a particular model of car that always gets overdone, does it make non-tuner types not want the car because of the stereotype that it would carry. Right now they seem to cater to it, but honestly I had to weigh that stereotype before I bought my RX-8.
Just a thought. Any opinions?
BTW, as you might guess, I think that wing is just stupid looking! Way to ruin a great car!

RX22, I don't see that happening. In fact, look at what the factories are doing. They're releasing cars with many of the aftermarket add-ons already installed, or available afterwards. They're making more cash off the cars with the mods. Also while you might see rice, they see a niche market

The Veilside definitely looks better in person... the hood looked good too. Like Shawrf1 said, the wing was the only thing that he would consider "ricey".. but that wasn't his choice when it was installed... sponsorship and junk.
