THANKS EVERYBODY!! Taking the pictures n' vid's were all my pleasure. I'm definitely no professional nor do i try and be one. I'm glad you guys picked up on what i was doing with the captions; i was hoping it would bring some more color to the pictures

Someone asked me during the event why i was there if i wasn't even dynoing?? and that it was probably a waste of time...

IMO - it's not really a one word answer. I can probably list off at least 10 solid reasons to be there. But the only one i could really think of was simply for the experience. It's what i love doing and being around. Just because it's not my car that's getting tuned or being worked on doesn't mean i'm not interested in it. I'm not diluted by my own needs or desire to where i can't enjoy the rush someone else gets from seeing all their work put to the test. I simply love it for what it is...an experience.

Just FYI, RIWWP (RI) and myself (CT) are talking about driving out there for Sevenstock in September this year. I know it's just a one day event but there's a lot more rotary presence going on and it would be a worthwhile trip.

RIWWP is going to go through a few more states on the way back out of the way just for the drive so if that doesn't appeal you can always just head back on your own but on the drive up you could go along if you want.

I'm on the sideline seeing when the official dates are since it may fall right on my Godson's/newphew's b-day which if it does counts me out. RIWWP is going no doubt though.

I would drive to the dyno days as well next year but seeing they're in March, that's a lot of crappy weather (snow/rain, luckily not much snow this year but usually NE has snow till April) to drive through so I rather fly for that event.

 

i'm gonna ask BHR if they can just hook me up with helmet cam next year

for the locals we make it into a 3 day event. Friday night is pre-party night - saturday morning is the journey then saturday night is the afterparty and sunday is either beach cruise time or possibly another secret event hosted by a certain forum member w/knock off enkei's

everybody said they'd laugh their *** off because the camer would be recording normally then fall to the side...then it would record everybody running over to me and just picking up the camera and filming me while passed out
