Underbody/Grill/Fender Vent LED Install

Underbody/Grill/Fender Vent LED Install
Here we go! I modded some more LED tubes for my custom interior switches. This time its outside the car.
LEDs under the car, in the fender vents, and grille.
And now for the pics.
^lulz
Dual LEDs. One pointed down, one pointed at the radiator.
Test, test, test 1, test 2.
I wrapped the wires in wire loom and then used electrical tape to seal those bad boys up.
Routing the wires.
Oh my.
And now the night shots!
I couldn't get a good pic of the Fender Vent LEDs.
There was so much blue my camera's exposure was all over the place.
I personally love these, amongst all of the light positions.

Details of the install
--------------------------------------------
I was able to have a LED Tube behind the cat back's heat shield. It is literally tucked up in the bumper, and is kept pretty far from the heat of the mufflers because of that heat shield.
I also zip-tied everything twice, even if it was mounted with mounting equipment. It can't hurt to be through.

Why would you go this far and still have amber corners?
Anyway.......too much for me and is way over the top.
Wonder what it would've looked like if just the side vents had been done?

thx for the props everyone.
i know! it was crazy how much crap was in there!
Yea i've mounted switches in the car. One for my AFR gauge, one for my interior leds and one of my exterior leds.
I could have if i used the LEDGlow control box. But i like the custom route.

I don't know about the clear corners. I kinda like the orange on a WB.

i think side vents are the line of ricer or not. In some cases they are okay, like super white under them is all good... once you get into colors you're pushing it. Anything after that... you've stepped into '00 honda civic territory. A place no one should ever go.

Wow...all the Honda hate. Geez. I'll admit I've owned Honda, Acura, Mitsu, Ford, etc. All very good cars. It's the owner that's the problem, no matter what car it is.
End thread jack. On to better photos.

Anytime someone does work to their own car I'm happy. All the underglow isn't my cup of tea, but I do like the lights behind the side vents.
Don't worry about the haters, it's not their car.. yours.

I agree 100%.
besides that the underbody stuff isn't my type you did do a good job on the install.
I might suggest getting longer lights for the vents.

I've thought about doing yellow LEDs for my vents (lightning yellow car and yellow-painted vent grilles).
But as for blue, you might attract unwanted attention. Blue exterior lighting is reserved for emergency vehicles, iirc, so save it for the parking lot.

Yea i know they are illegal...like my race pipe.
IMO, go for the yellow on yellow.
