WOW. You can't be serious. You're glorifying a ******* molded lip of yours This is the height and pinnacle of the RX-8 community? A molded lip by some dude?

How deaf are you? I just said your car's clean and well done but those mods are easy to do, hence me saying it wasn't courtyard material. What kind of character are you who can't take constructive criticism. I can say the 4's got a Toyota Celica Supra complete rear drivetrain conversion, RX-7 5 speed conversion, GSL-SE front suspension, 13b bridge, 51 IDA, dual 2.5" to single 3" dual MSD ignition, and a lot of other custom sht etc. but what's the point? To say that I'm the only one who's done those mods and I'm special? Do you need reassurance of how pretty your car is because you're insecure or what. Quit acting like a bitch and crying on the internet. You must be lame in person if you get butt hurt by constructive criticism.

I'll check your meet out. But you should do the same and chill w/ us 7 and old school boys at the Los Feliz Best Buy plaza.

yea but who are you to pass judgement saying it is not worthy enough to be up there. Mazda chose me you asshat not me, I was planning on being in there with the rest of my guys. Mazda's decision over yours, yea, we really know who's who.

this thread was made to showcase what new things I did to my ride. Don't be pissy cause mazda didn't think yours was worthy enough. Remember, you came on this thread starting shyt, not me. Come by next month so we can talk it out. Internet talk is cheap.

That's all your accustomed to. 'pretty comments'

And I don't care about not being in the courtyard. I don't hold much value to any of my cars as much as you do. At the end of the day, it's still a car no matter what custom mods I make to it. It'll never love me back as much as a human being does. Make sure you come by this week to our 7 and old school Mazda meet "so we can talk it out."

My uncles who won the awards will tell you the same thing. They don't care enough to care about winning; courtyard or awards. Long as they know they're with good company then that's all that matters.

Why are you so bitter about a constructive criticism.

Come on now. When you post a comment like that, how can that be considered CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM? It comes off like you're just bitching because you're car isn't the one in the courtyard.

To take a shot at the RX-8 community is comparing apples to oranges. Anyone who buys an RX-8 could have bought an older car and modded the SHYT out of it for the price we pay for an 8. To have a newer car and mod it takes money unless you have bank like NGORX8 (just kidding Danny) .

XDEEDUBBX would be the first person to appreciate a nicely modded car especially an RX-4 with your list of mods.

That being said, d0_Luck your car does look nice. I can appreciate a clean looking car.

Hey DeeDubb, first it was great to meet you this weekend!

Agreed with the old school vs. new school. I was really shocked to see that this weekend. Not to knock on the AZRX7 guys, but I swore those of us from AZMC and RCCAZ must have smelled funny based on how the RX7 guys were acting. I was shooting video the whole trip from Phoneix and most of them didn't even act like I existed.

The best part was we stopped at a rest area were the AZRX7 people were and the moment we parked they all ran to their cars and took off. I figured we were all rotary brothers (and sisters!) but some seem to hold themselves to a higher esteem.

BTW, anyone going to post pics of DeeDubb getting close and personal with the bushes? I've got em!

missy, its always the case, thats why I didn't even bother inviting the older gens to our caravan this year. I have nothing against older gens but they are afraid of change and evolution. You can only hold onto something for so long especially after somethings been done to death. My style is to keep it clean and simple with good quality parts.

deedubb, i love the new mods. the front bumper/lip molded looks sick. your car is one of the reasons i bought a VR when looking for my 8.

i certainly appreciate custom work that is different from what anyone else is doing. the mazdaspeed and a few other bolt on body kits are certainly nice, but its cool to see someone do something different.

now get those new wheels and sell me yours

How in the world is there anything constructive about that criticism? An example of constructive critisim would be, "Hey man you car looks great, but I think that intake inlet would have looked a little better two more inches to the right." Constructive criticism is NOT, "Hey dude, your car looks good, but who in thier right mind would want to showcase it."

his idea of constructive criticism is getting slapped upside the head with a ****. Don't worry too much about the guy, he's a loser coming on the rx8 forums and bitching and whining about what he thinks is and isn't worthy and doesnt even have an rx8. Remember, his opinion matters more than Mazda North America itself.I can really care less about your rust bucket (big wow, you really impressed us all with that picture, seriously). He's probably some punk kid with nothing else better to do. And in all seriousness, stop name dropping who you know! Who gives a **** about your uncles car! I'm sure it's nice and all but if reverting to who you know as a weapon of defence is plain pathetic.

Hey DeeDubb, car looks sexy as ****. I can honestly say I like everything about it, except the carbon fiber license plate cover. That is the only thing I don't like. Props on a sick 8

blah blah blah. i'm going to use a CF lip on the quattro and mold it to my car and call it the custom shizzz. thanks for the idea man. i'd never figure out great ingenuity w/o your superb idea

get over it you cry baby and quit being an attention ***** and take my 2 cents for what it is; a criticism and opinion. you're just like the honda boys. they take it up their *** if they hear anything negative.

and i don't care if Mazda of the Universes said your car deserves the courtyard spot. quit name dropping you hypocrite.

Looks good except for the thing around your licence plate and the single exhaust.

As far as the intake you'd get much better results with ram air using a non-cone air filter and have everything sealed inline. (I guess in order to picture it.. think of your intaking being in the open air and inverted like a tuba..) I'd make a custom box air filter connected directly to your inlet. (Watch out for rain)

The cf underhood pieces are coo
