Is that true? If so, how come you didn't turn it off?

Pressing the "DSC off" will turn off the TSC [Owner's Manual, pg 5-23]. The "DSC off" was illuminated on the lower left gauge (out of view from camcorder).
I believe your talking about holding the DSC OFF for 5 secs to get the orange indicator to come on. I will try that next time but doubt it will make any difference.
The TSC never blinked "ON" during my burnouts or runs so it was never active.

As far as heatwave, I'm going to see if the dealership will sponsor me and pay my entrance fee. I'll put their dealership banner by my car for them.

The diameter is almost the same (0.2in bigger now). I could have picked up some gearing with 245/40/17's tires which would've been 0.8 inches smaller diameter. But that also means my car would've dropped 0.4 inches more.
I don't want it any lower since I've got MS springs and a bodykit. The front lip is already scraped up pretty bad on the underside.
Miata site has a tire calculator too figure all this out. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Stiffer shocks/ Sway bars/ strut bars improved the handling. Stock was good, but the way it is now is perfect.
The clutch is alittle harder than stock and the RP short shifter improved the shifting feel.

Yeah, $8k is about right for the "performance side". That doesn't include the "show side" (body kit, stereo, 19" wheels,....)
You gotta pay to play.

great vid!!!!!! good to see someone dragging a turbo 8. I do think you could be easily in the mid 13 range. I'm shooting for low 14's with my base as soon as I get some tires for my gram lights.

Hey Adrian,
Remeber me I bought your cz unit a while back. Great vid. Thanks. You do have some tuning to do as you should be below 13.5 with that car. All note Adrians reaction times--pretty doggone good man! Have fun getting it right! See how once the tires hook in 1st and the turbo has spooled then the great lunge forward --then it is like the turbo died.
Good driving.

first off... great vid!
Really liked your 60' on your run vs. the hatchback. Was that hatchback turbo'd? Sounds like a type S bov on the pre run burn outs, but at over 15 secs it sure didnt run like it was (or was it your bov)? When I had my gsx I had 60's of 1.7-1.9 so you had a good 60' on that one. I would really concentrate on your 60' to get your times lowered.
On your psi not staying up.... possible boost leak? I'd test for a leak if I was you. Doesnt take very long and it makes a world of a difference. Is your turbo ported and/or clipped?
great job overall!
edit: i see now that you DO have the type s bov (looked at some of your pics)

The turbo was installed the way Greddy sent it. No porting done.
