I've noticed most of the earlier kits were dynoing around 240 and the new kits seem to be around 220 and look like **** at high revs. I would love to know why.

Didn't Greddy release a new map or something?

Ya but some people have gotten custom tunes and while that improves the high rpm smoothness, they still are only making around 220 or so.

That's kinda dissapointing for 5k total cost. Have these people making 220 or so fixed the leak that was mentioned.

My kit was running at 4 psi when I first got it. Had nothing to do with the tuning of the A/F levels. The actuator rod was set too loose. Then we adjusted it & it was 6 psi/4 psi & played with it again & it is now 7.5 psi. Now, we have leaned out the map & to run with 7.5 psi.

Are you running on the same track ? I don't think so. Just because you run a 14.5 on one track, doesn't mean you can run a 14.5 on all tracks. You have to look at the improvement from stock to turboed RX8. In this case it was over 1 sec. in the 1/4 mile time. Too many times novices just look at the magazines and see 14.5 or run a time at their local track and think that is applicable to all tracks, & all conditions. He was in the 15's & now he is almost breaking into the 13's. That is pretty impressive. I have a track near me that is pretty much the closest one to Los Angeles where the elevation is about 3,000 ft., it is blazingly hot, & the traction always sucks. If you could do the 14.5 there with your stock RX8 I would give you $1,000. Every track is different, if you read his initial post you would see that he has an incline at the end of the 1/4 mile.

Don't worry, I don't think anybody is offended just you can't port through numbers from one place to the next. I have seen S2000's with I/H/E running 15's at my local track. Hell, I drove the hell out of my supposed 13 sec. car & I got 13.9 sec. Every track is different. Traction is a big point. Some tracks are newer & have nice new surface, or replace their surface on a consistent basis. Some don't. That is why you see people with drag slicks drop a lot of time off their 1/4 miles a lot of times. We had a guy here once with a nasty Viper that did his first run with his regular, aired down street tires, then swapped it out for slicks on the next run & dropped .8 sec. off his time. Back to back.
