Hello All!
After almost four years of grueling waiting I finally got my RX-8!!
I love the forums (RX-7 & RX-8 Club) and I'm so happy to finally be apart of it! I really wanted my first ever post to look this good. :P
09' RX-8 R3. Oh my oh my.
Sexy.

I think a cool first mod would be to swap your seats out for a slightly used set of cloth 1st gen rx8 seats...
congrats on the purchase... let us know what you think about that motor

Thanks!! ^^
Yea, in pictures the front bumper doesn't do much for me, but in person it blows my mind. The whole car just flows really well. I'm really happy I waited.
I'm looking forward to it! I want to start going to more meets! I went to a couple of the barotary meets. Love those sexy 7's.
Well, I can give you the weights out of the manuel, but its kinda generic for all 09's. I might be able to find the R3 weight somewhere for you.
My owners manuel says this,
GVWR (Gross vehicle weight rating) Manuel 1,732kg(3,818 lbs) Auto 1,752kg (3,862 lbs)
GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating) Manuel Front 842kg (1,856 lbs) Rear 901kg (1,986 lbs) Auto Front 858 kg (1,892 lbs) Rear 907 kg (2,000 lbs)
If that helps at all.. I'm not sure it does. :|
Yea, the seats are awesome. Perfect fit. I love it. Wheels are hot as well.

Thanks Everyone! ^^;
Yea, I wanted it badly. I put out a request for a quote on the exact car I wanted a while ago. They gave me some offers and the first car that came in was all mine!
For some reason almost no one at the dealerships around here knew what a R3 was. One dealer even tried to show me a 09 Sport insisting it was a R3! It was a crazy experience.
The out the door price on the offer they gave me was $34,714.23.
If you live in the area, the dealership in San Jose said they would be getting a R3 sometime in Sept. I don't know what color though.
Goodluck I hope you get exactly what you want!
The LED's look amazing in person. Pictures just don't do it justice. I'll try to take better pictures soon.

Those LED rear lights look awesome!
That's the first R3 I've ever seen detailed pictures of. Everything but the front looks unbelievable. Are the seats comfortable? They look insanely supportive.
P.S., those are by far the most wild wheels Mazda has ever produced for a production car. You should get A/M wheels and sell those to me.
