Watch This 4 Your Own Safety

Finally found a commercial more ridiculously depressing than those Sarah MacLachlan save the animals ads.
They should make people watch those here in the states before they can receive their drivers license... too bloody easy to get one if you ask me.

Well the cellphone one was complete BS, it was absolutely the dumb teenager's fault.
And the one with the pinky finger well that was just funny and dumb.
The rest are real and stuff can happen but then again stupid stuff happens when people dont speed either so dont throw it all on speeding.
Can I still make a snide comment???
...
na you guys will prob hate me for it :D

Are you a cop? or a ambulance driver?
I know of a ambulance driver here in BC Canada... he says they (Ambulance drivers) get desensitized to it after a while. Whenever they are bringing in motor bike accident they call it in as:
"We're bringing in an organ donor"
That call is used for motor bike accidents so often, it's usually the norm, not the exception.
Personally... I think all new drivers should drive small cars, starting from the smallest... a Moped, graduating to larger/faster vehicles, once they prove they can avoid accidents.
Sorta like banking their points, until they can both earn the right and earn the money to drive something faster. Like a Honda Civic, or perhaps much later.... an RX8.

you post a video of accidents. and we all know, accidents are not done on purpose, which is why the are called accidents. and that is the reason why i found it funny that you posted a video of accidents and post a video of you driving in circles.
What if you Accidently lost conrtol of your car and hit the your friend with the video camera? which the point i was getting at.
WHich is why i found your threads to be funny to me. but this video is good to watch. makes ppl think twice. thanks for the share.

[quote] U can always find a safe place. Take a look around U.How many people pass u when snow?
i live in ontario, i pass in the snow all the time, its not hard when the person you are passing, for some stupid reason since they live here, can't seem to figure out that snow tires are a good idea and they drive 20 under the limit. and as for the video, if you watch it, everyone who crashes is doing something really stupid, lesson, dont be a reatard, not drive slower. I dont know about you guys but when i am putting my foot in it, one its not mid day in traffic, and 2 i am 10x as focused as usual. That said it is a well made video, and as long as you get the right msg outta it, you will drive safer, and yes, every girl will look at you like you are a douche bag if you do a burnout infront of them.

Good video. It sends a powerful message. People should never drive outside their means, faster than they can react, outside their full control, beyond the capabilities of their vehicle and should always pay attention.
I always drive assuming there will be some kind of obstruction beyond every blindspot. And it's a good thing too, because there are deer where I live. Doesn't matter where you are, always look for things to jump out into your path, assume every other driver on the road is a moron and will go out of their way to cut you off or collide with you.
In the words of Jack Burton, "I never drive faster than I can see, besides that, its all in the reflexes."

I love to drive fast and I think there are places, even on the road, where it is safe but..
I have seen people die in accidents and it is not an experience that anyone should ever have.
Some people are plain stupid.
There is never a good time to show off on public roads and excessive speed in built up areas will eventually lead to an incident out of your control.
Believe me even at the speed limit small children can use your car to kill themselves and there will probably be nothing you can do about it.
The pinky thing is a reference to a small *****.

There isn't enough of these around.
They say there's no teacher like first-hand experience.
This is a lot closer to that than watered-down domestic public service announcements that no one takes seriously.
This is certainly better than having to take a life before one really minds their public driving.
