Hey there.. I just got these products installed a few days ago.

These wheels are hot! The pictures really dont do them justice...

You know.. I had never even heard of these wheels until a week ago when I went down to this local shop and looked at the wheels he had.. I wasnt interested in anything too fancy.. but was looking for more of a race feel...

I thought that I wanted a 5 spoke design and never really considered anything else until I saw these...

Just kept on getting drawn back to these wheels so I had to make the purchase..

The guy even took a picture of my car after the installation was done and will probably post it on his site...

Yeah.. they are a dark gray color.. I believe that they also come in silver but these look way better.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, same as ugly. I don't think they are ugly. They are OK. As you said about them, the pics just don't do them justice.

 

I doubt my opinion matters much since you already bought the rims, but I don't care for the look either.

I like the tread pattern though.

 

not really my style either, but they look light as hell so at least you got the functionality part. It probably looks a lot better in person. I give you much props for being original though at least you know you probably be the few if not the only one that has these rims

 

Well IMO those aren't the best looking rims for the 8. Maybe they do look different in person.

I think they look hot.. The look I am going for is sporty.. I dont want anything on this car to shine or have some type of reflective surface....

To me.. sporty is the way to go....

I hate to be a smartass, but if you don't want anything on the car to shine or be reflective, you've got a lot of work to do on the paint...

 

Are those 18" ?

 

Sorry man, that just isn't a look that I find attractive. But what matters is that you are happy with them. It's your cash and your car.

 

How do the T1-S tires feel?

 

Hey.. The tires feel awesome.. They dont seem to break away as the other tires did while trying to push them hard in a corner....

I got the 18X8 42offset wheels... They weigh in at a little over 17 pounds...

The 245's all the way around feel great too...

I cant wait to get on the track in a few months and test them out...

and it's cool if NOBODY haha.. likes them.. I think they are hot...

Just for the record, me no likey either. I have a velocity red 8 too and I've been seeing more and more of the staggered setups that seems to look a lot better. I went to Hot Import Days today in San Diego and took a picture of this red one in the show (forgive my lack of talent in the photo taking dept.). While the color scheme is the same as yours (dark inside with a polished lip), it definitely looked better in my opinion. See for yourself:

The only thing I like better about that picture is the fact that there is a smaller profile on the tire...

I actually like my rims better.... Guess I am just going for a different look.

But anyway.. guess this thread is over haha..

I like 'em. I prefer wheels with lips, but those look great for what they are. I'm looking for some lightweight wheels too, and i considered those for awhile. I guess I'm just sayin, not my style, but I like 'em.

 

Yeah definitely.. I can say the same about that picture too... Like em.. but I like mine better... It's all about what you like and your preferences....

I thought for sure you guys would like them... I get gitty every time I look at them...

 

I'd love to see them some time. San Dimas isn't too far from me. You plan on attending any meets?
