I think gunmetal looks much better on gray or black. Im not crazy about the style either, but Im a classic style guy. They look great for the track though. Your money, enjoy them!

Those look SWEEET!!! For the longest time i was considering selling my LE37t's for those. Dont stress about the few haters on here, because those are some awesome rims! Light, functional, and the split spoke design looks great. What width did you go with btw?

It is definitely lighter on it's feet. While driving I can tell there is a difference.. in fact, when I first picked up the car and drove it off the lot, I could notice the difference right away...
I really think it's because of the less weight.
My total weight savings with this setup gave me almost 8 pounds per corner. This made a significant change to how much effortless it is for steering input...
I guess the best way to describe it is wouldnt you be able to run faster.. jump higher.. change direction quicker with 8 pounds off your back? It really made that much difference...
After driving the car I am loving these tires... There is an on-ramp next to my place that I love taking. It's a 180 degree corner that you can take at around 45 mph. These tires just stick all the way through it. I end up at around 6,500 rpm at the end of the ramp and it just shoots up to 9,000 coming onto the freeway.. tons of fun....

Thankx you guys!
I just called the people who I bought them from to see if there are any center caps available.... There is all this rust inside the center.... I guess if the center caps look ugly installed I could always clean off the rust and take them off...
They have to call Japan to see if any are available...

Thankx! There is no swaying my opinion either about them.. I love em..
They are 18X8 with a 42 offset....
I just heard that Stop Tech is developing a 2 piston rear caliper that should be out within a few months... They are testing it on some race RX8 right now...
I want to get the front kit here pretty soon...
Probably in the 332.. 2500 is too much to spend on brakes I think for the larger size...

first off nice rims i personally would prefer chrome but like i said thats "my" own opinion but im shocked that no one else noticed that in the tread pic it seems to be that your 8 either had the AC on (hopefully) or your leaking something looks like oil to me.... i could be wrong just stating what i saw

They look 18" ... they are not bad at all.. I like the wheel.
Why don't you paint the mazda logo or the rx-8 or even the mazdaspeed logo back on the centre of the wheel. Naked nuts does not look good.
The tyre is ok though... hard to get use to the aggressive look of the Toyos

I think people like these wheels just as much as the split between dems and repubs.. I am cool with that though.. people like chrome wheels on the 8 and I think it's a mochery..
so what can you do.
so what can you do.

Those wheels are nice. It's a break from the normal 5-spoke and 6-spoke designs you usually see on RX-8's. Plus, you don't see Weds wheels everyday
. Keep lovin' your wheels davefzr.
