Yeah, I was prone to fits of road rage a while back.
It's not worth going to jail over, very few things are.
I actually threatened a guy at a red light & tried to drag him out of his car in front of his wife & kids for running a red light, then flipping me off when I laid on the horn.
That's when I knew I had a problem.
I felt really bad after I saw the look on his wife & kids' faces.
Good thing he locked the doors.
I'm doing much better now.

He probably had warrants out on him or something, on side of a busy highway & he just sat there & listened to me curse him out after he cut me off then flipped me off.
I'm lucky I didn't get shot, I was stupid to even get out of my truck.
It's not something I'm proud of, it was a real problem for me for a lot of years.
People's lives change forever in moments of stupidity like that, it's not worth it.
Paimon did the right thing, cars can be fixed easier than people.

Is that a Subaru, Paimon?

Yup, Impreza wagon. The crazy thing is, i can remember exactly what i was thinking. I literally see this guy perpendicular to me, and in that fraction of a second im like "why is this guy trying to drive across the highway".
1. +1 for the Hawk HPS ... glad all that autox didn't beat them clean, very little ABS modulation, was able to stop, only impact was caused by his ricochet off the wall.
2. +1 for removing my Enkei's last weekend and throwing on the winters
Side Note
Will i have trouble at the body shop w/o a cat? Obviously his insurance is covering everything but not too sure how much body shops care about those details
Would be nice if they would replace that front bumper .... its all scuffed up, but i have a feeling they are going to try and repair instead of replace. Would be cool to get an R3 bumper lol.

I wouldn't think so.
You might be able to work something out with the shop to get what you want.
Insurance co. probably won't know one Rx8 bumper from another.

Just got off the phone with the claims handler, looks like im dropping it off on Monday (luckily i took the week off to use vacation time [irony])
Never had to go through this process before, didn't realize i had "a choice". i could either A. go with my own insurance (statefarm), pay deductable, get all the repairs done, then they go after the dudes insurance company (progressive) to get all the money back, or B. go to their insurance and have them just pay for everything.i figure that going with A. i can get the stuff done right because i feel like B. would try to do it as cheap as possible

It depends on your insurance company. I've never been given that option, my insurance company always covers everything up front, and they go after the other insurance company to get their own compensation.
Makes it pretty easy on my end.

Very interesting, yea that sounds easier, but i figure as long as i get the deductable back i dont care in the end.
So long as the the shop do the job right. That's the only part that scares me. The company that is doing the work is pretty reputable in CT. Just one of those OCD things.

+1 On body shop not caring about a de-cat. Usually they won't care about things like that. For the bumper damage, usually they'd just repair and re-paint it unless its damaged beyond repair. Like cracked or something like that.
If its just scuffed they'll most likely just re-paint it, sometimes not even the entire bumper, might just blend the scuffed area into the existing paint. Just pay attention to the invoice. Some shadier body shops might just repair/re-paint then bill the insurance for replacing an entire bumper.
