ahhh...stock Turbo's. I do also love the VR-4.

i like posting here rather then 3si because everyone on this forum is more alive. haha

heres some new mods if you guys enjoy following my journey.

candy blue pwdercoated valve cover
custom 3 inch dual resonated (dynomax bullet/moroso spiral flow) exhaust
apexi n1 4" titanium tip
AEM wideband

im running lean!! needa tune. gotta get the AEM EMU first haha. let me cut off my hand real quick.

going in for the 60K this weekend.

wow, that engine is set waaaay out in front of the front axle. how does it handle?

Beautiful car!

A few years back I had my eyes set on a '97-'98 VR-4 and even went so far as to test drive three different cars, however, in the end I went with a new 2.5L '06 WRX. They're great cars, but at 6ft 1", I couldn't fit in a VR-4 properly -- especially if it had a sunroof.

I'm jealous - it's definitely one of my fav "Japanese supercars" from the 90's. My all-time favorite though is a '99 Acura NSX Zanardi edition!

i used to own a 1993 Vr4, fast car loved it

but i had a accident and they said that my car was totaled so i sold it to my insurance for $7000 and i bought for $5500 after that i just bought a rx-8 like 2 weeks ago and love it got a alot of plans for it

That VR4 is so much better than an RX8. BUT I don't envy you. The manufacturer doesn't make that car anymore OR any of the parts you may need WHEN something breaks.

Clean car. Nice buy since you like the car. Great acceleration.

I don't know about the VR4, but the regular 3000GT SL handling wasn't very good in my opinion. I recall it felt very heavy and resistant to turning.

Speaking of VR4, the VR4 Galants were pretty sweet, which, I think was the spiritual precursor to the Evolution cars.
