To many good replies to quote, but thank you for the compliments, and advice. The sticker is from a local car club "I hate it to, but it's one of the rules - to have it on the car." I joined the club to have something car related for my lesure close to home. The RIMS I like, but I have made my mind to change them, and found a local buyer. My decision to sell them was more for practicality than style, but I definitly want a high end/Light weight JDM brand to put on the car. As far as the spoiler I got at a rediculous price (put it this way i spend more on gas in a week). I had originally ordered the R-majic spoiler, but it never came so i got a refund. So I guess Rims will be the first to change. -----And ummm keep the advice coming.

Keep the current rims for daily and buy some High end rims for shows. You don't want to pimp Volks, HRE, etc. for daily use. Judges at most shows don't know ****, they just know someone. A sick swap or a serious interior scheme would help. How about a sick leather scheme and a original audio/video setup. Just give it thought man. Too be honest though a silver with black rims is clean but does not pop. A quality luxury coat of paint would be set. Have you seen the 8 with the Lexus paint job?

No I haven't. But I was Honistly thinking of the bmw m3 e46 blue. that aqua like blue, but that "money" is set aside for the turbo. for now. I just want to gather some good ideas to see how I'm going to put the car together for next years season. I have already gather some sponsors and funding. So I really want to go the righ direction with the car. AS fas as personally I Want a show and go car thats why i haven't done the music. For the interior I was think bride seats, roll cage, guages, and car pc well just because I'm a PC geek. I know some people are going to say a tracked car wont be a good show car but i was thinking after this winter i was going to have the whole car clear bra-ed, because I'm real tired of changing bumpers for track days.

im realling diggin the look of your car.
the only thing id change is the strakes. is just get rid ofem
and just keep the black vents , or get the silver vents and matchem with the color of your car.
it'd look nicer TO ME. but i dont see anythingelse exterior wise.
idk if your into graphics. but something like that can only come from your taste.

You should start AutoX'ing and doing HPDE events, You will feel much better and more accomplished if you win a race, than win a show. And you will be respected much more as well

Pair of new rims, possibly bronze or gold, since Black and chrome lip is abit played out by most cars these days...no offense, but the car looks clean, no doubt..!
and a more unique front bumper, the rest of the other kit you have on looks awesome especially the Lip wing.... thats all , in my opinion!

Dude, don't waste your money on the Turbo. Just get a nitrous kit and use the money for other things. Check out the mods you regret thread. I know so many guys that regret going turbo.

I dont know if Carbon fiber is your style, but Id say a CF hood and trunk would be sweet. It would go well with the black roof. Ditch the stickers IMHO.
I think its sick, the judges dont have to drive the car, you do. Do what you love.

I agree, I like the spoiler also. Someone else said it, but what about eye lids or whatever they call that go over your headlights?
Some concave spoked wheels would look sick on the car or even some Enkie rpf1's.

Have you done anything interior wise? Are you interested in adding the extra weight of a stereo system? I find these are a couple ways my 8 differs from others.
a few suggestions. not all intended to go together
- cf hood and trunk
- laminex headlights
- dyed interior headliner
- paint the back of the stock seats to have a silver and black combo.
- Big brake kit
- windshield tint strip
- some sort of custom stereo (a couple 10's and an amp)
- JDM ground strap (fun little thing to have)
- Maybe an in-dash dvd kit (metra kit seems to be the new craze)
- subtle interior lighting
- nitrous kit (custom painted bottle)
As you can see my car doesn't have a body kit nor do I have coilovers even. I think there are a few changes you can do to help your ca,r maybe not stand out, but score a few points and still look clean.
I love my dyed headliner. It brings a whole new feeling to the interior. I would concentrate maybe on this and an audio system first. The exterior already looks clean. And if you can out score competition on these parts, it's ok if you don't do as well engine performance wise.
a few pics of what I have done.
There's not much under my hood, but at shows I open it up just to show the intake and how simple and clean it is.
here's a pic where you can see the dyed headliner and pillars
JDM ground strap.....If you want, I have an extra, I could ship it out to you.
