Whitewater RX8 + Eclipse

If they are 20s (and I have no idea how she fit 20s on a 3g eclipse and drives around) then the car....
1. Is raised up a bit from the size of a bigger wheel. This makes the car TALLER.
2. Look dropped, but really the bigger wheels just closed the fender well gap. The stock fender gap on the 3g is fairly large and very unsightly.
I think that the Eclipse model is on its way OUT. The 3g is less than 10% Japanese, and the next Eclipse looks to be worse. I am not sure, and don't care too much.
The 1g and 2g GSXs are very nice. But Mitsubishi has one of those reputations for cars crapping out.
Holy 10 cents i just gave up.
So how is the ride in the Eclipse?
How is it in your 8?
Huge difference if you ask me!

yes they are 20's and yes they do rub when you turn the wheel all the way to one side. (really need to roll the fenders). And the 20 inch wheels do lift the car a considerable amount also.
As for the ride bewteen the eclipse and the 8....well...its like night and day. The eclipse just feels heavier and more sluggish on turns because of the huge wheels, unlike my 8 which is a much nicer ride. I also like the backseats on the 8 better then the eclipses because the 8's rear seats seem more spacious.
Before my sister got her car I was trying to edge her into getting a 1999 eclipse but when she saw the 3g she went for it instead. Now I'm sorta glad she did not get the 99' because of her taste in rims...

well--Davin's are the 'true' spinning wheels known as Sprewells (because he is the one that debuted them) THe spinners on her ride are like the mass-market ones, and they also sell the actual spinner adaptor similar to her spinner portion. I guess the best way to sum it up is a lyric from a hip hop song "I see you ridin' Spinners--but they not Davin". Don't get me wrong--not tryin to talk down on the ride.
