Any plans of coming back with or without the 8?
Thanks Shamble...tell Hazel I say hi and if she's ever in Singapore we can work out a deal on the back taxes...haha :D

No plans on coming back to Can for a while yet. When I do, don't think I'd bring the 8 back with me, not sure if a right side steering wheel is allowed (?). Rather buy another new one

Yes it's functional, but it's an option that is a bit expensive! I actually prefer the silver rotary crest accents myself.

The headlight washers are activated every time the windscreen washer is applied. However, I've only used the windscreen washer once, just to see the headlight washers in action

Another neat little feature on the Euro spec is the lights under the side view mirrors that come on when you open/close the doors. Has no functional factor, purely the cool factor, yet at night I get a kick out of it every time

Actually the marketing department at Mazda HQ will have you believe that they are functional....... "puddle" lights for illuminating the gutter before you step into the car.

Nojooc...is that really MM's marketing position? Haha...they don't light anything beyond six inches below the mirror...just a neat little hospital light that tells me whether the paint on my door panels directly below the mirror is clean or not :D With your Euro spec, do the lights give you the same kinda "tickle" (for lack of a better word) when they come on? Cheers

Nojooc, never gave you my opinion, I'm just stating fact! I think the RX8 club also thinks so that's why they chose a red RX8 as part of the header page.

Now if Blue came with a black/blue interoir, then you would have something really special like red :D No you have my opinion!

I agree, an OEM black/blue interior would have been the shiznit! Gonna hafta aftermarket my interior.

Nojooc, despite all, I still think your car is dandly looking. The rims are especially nice. Throw on a turbo charger and MS body kit and I'd be prepared to trade you my stock VR 8 straight up!

You wish.... I love red cars, but something about the "orangish" look of the VR that turned me off it.

Nojooc, you'll come to your senses one day and realize that, not only is the RX8 in Velocity Red, the most attractive but also is the best built and faster 8 of the bunch. Remember mate, we have 238 hp and not the detuned/skimped edition you get which is 228hp!

Nvertheless, you drive a hard bargain. Therefore since I want to create a win-win situation here, I'll sweeten the deal a bit and throw in a North American RX-8 brochure. So after the trade, you will not only have a substantially better looking and faster car, you will also be the best informed on the 8 in Australia as well!

I think he means the blue one...I must say it looks really stupid with the rest of it not finished. I say, if you cant afford the whole thing...wait until you can. That looks completely out of line.

Actually, I think he's talking about the front passenger side of the bumper/fender that has been crunched, I think.

Not quite. In Australia they are only available on the up-spec Leather Pack models that also come std with Xenon headlamps. We Cloth Pack guys get by with halogens...
