Here are some pictures of my car getting flash-ready down at Pettit Racing:
and look what was in the garage.... the Stage III Pettit RX-8 (it's for sale btw):
and on the shelf to the left of the Pettit Stage III RX-8:
(I think these are spoken for, but I'm sure they have more)
and next to my car was Mzdarx8's WWP getting the install:
It was a perfect day.

I went to Island Lincoln Mercury in Merritt Island because of a friend's recommendation. I looked at the wheels after they finished and at first glance they looked fine. When I got home I checked them a little more closely and noticed that one of them had a pretty decent sized scratch around the center. I don't think I can recommend them after seeing that, especially since I politely asked the guy to take his time and be careful.
I'm heading back there a week from Thursday. We'll see how it goes.

Yep............it's a Racing Beat front, and I assure you both cars are very sweet! I am envious and these two guys drive me nuts mentally about getting the S/C. They don't flaunt it, it just makes me want it so bad after seeing, hearing, and riding in it. I go back and forth on this each and every day!

Man, after all that hard work, you need a vacation, a supercharged vacation...

Bastage, if you don't mind me asking, how much have you spend on your setup??? I'm thinking of going the FI route and the pettit supercharger is the one that appeals to me the most, specially after seeing it in person. I know the stage 2 sc retails for $7500 and installation is about $1000, but overall, including tuning other upgrades(if any), etc... how much has it been overall???

$4995 for the supercharger
$1400 for the interceptor-x (Which I later sold to a fellow forum member and used the proceeds to get the flash)
Installation was free.
In total, I spent about 6500(including taxes) on the Pettit kit. It's not cheap, but the peace of mind of it made it a bargain for me.
This is what they're currently charging:
Stage II 275 WHP & 185 lb/ft $6,694 tuned
Stage II CS 300 WHP & 195lb/ft $7,144 tuned
The tuning is basically a reflash of your ECU, and it's included in their price.
As for the thread getting ugly. I don't care. All he has is a worthless piece of paper

Yeah, tell me more, and get into some real detail, since you are apparently pulling this stuff out your ***.

8600 posts / 46 months == 186 posts/month == incompatible with life.
He's right, go spend some time with your daughter, if you really have one. I hope she takes after her mom though.. for her sake.
On a lighter note, here's a picture of a very old Ford pickup I ran into while driving through the Great Smoky Mountains:
The owner was a pretty cool guy who basically takes his truck up into the mountains every few days to get some fresh air and enjoy the scenery.
And here's a car I ran into at the dragon:
