thats nice.. i would love to get one of those... anyone know where i can get a RX8 Model to build... i have 3 weeks off starting monday and it would be great to keep me busy

I have that in my room...still in the box. I bought it for $121 HKD when I was in Hong Kong. It works out to be around $19 CND, or $14 USD. The detail is supurb and simple to put together. This isn't your typical Revell kit, where it is in hundreds of peices. The tires are real soft rubber and has all the proper Bridgstone Potenza markings on it (I was really impressed with the amount of detail molded into the sidewall of the tire). The only thing I didn't like was the fact it was red. I guess I can put a primer on it and paint it to match my car (sunlight silver).

I'm sorry but I don't see anything really advanced in what he did. He did some minor putty work but that's about it. "Really good" is scratchbuilding an airplane and weathering it so it looks real. Say something like this: http://hem.bredband.net/thomaskolb/a.../weather_e.htm

All of that is pale in comparison to the detail of this Corsair
