WWP Turbo??

Esmeril Turbo, installing my self. 40% done. Im stuck on this one DAMN bolt that just wont come loose. The top bolt on the engine mount. Then everything should be easier to do. Interceptor X has 3 maps, gonna use the dd one along with the 6psi? spring.. I still need a boost controller along with some guages, prob aem wide. I will update as much as i can. I will need some help so tune in and answer my questions if you can.

Turbo!!

Good luck I think you're supposed to start off at a lower psi to slowly break in your motor/seals, like 3-4 psi. From what I've read, and I'm no expert, but it's easy to ruin your motor buy not taking your time breaking it in. BUT, after it's broken in.... I gotta drive it ;P

whut? His car is brand new with 0 miles on it? If not, why worry about breaking it in when it's already broken in.

well i just plan to run it at 6psi since there is snow/ice on ground already. not gonna go higher till i get the esmeril fuel system upgrade, the bhr ignistion, and meth. just to be safe. also this gonna be a dd car on low easy boost, and hopefully i can replicate the same numbers they (esmeril) is getting with their setup. that will be for road racing, and auto cross. if it can handle it.

what side drivers/passenger side on the one bolt ur having issues with? I'm at the end of my "custom top mounted" turbo set up on my 8 as well. Hit me on pms. I can probably help you out.

I had a "great time" snaking my manifold. I'm left with designing my dp.

LOL, I don't really know what I'm talking about... just my way of telling him not to blow his motor up. I'm local, he knows me... and he knows I don't have the slightest clue what I'm talking about Good luck with the install dude, I can't wait to drive this thing
By the way, anybody want to help me with out with a map for the Cobb I just bought off WhiteSnowflake8? I know nothing about tuning and I don't want to screw it up. I have all Racing Beat parts so far... ram air, intake, midpipe, dual exhaust. Basically I want to learn how to tune down the afr, but if someone has already made a good base map for these parts, no harm in asking, right?

cause i got a hell of a deal. also they arent knock offs just off brand products. and as youcan see they perform better than that greddy kit. lol ;p .... also if any parts go bad i can replace them for cheaper. i know exactly where ican find the same turbo and parts for hella cheap.

I think Rex8 is referring to this thread... https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/alredcars-project-build-thread-158298/page4/ That guy's not had very good luck with the kit, hopefully his was just a fluke manufacturing error.

Meh first person with this problem, so it means ALL are defected?? I guess your greddy sucks too.... Remember just cause one fails, don't mean all do. And if i get that trouble i have all winter to get an authentic turbonetics t70.

Craftsman has a set of rounded off nut/bolt remover. I had to do the same on my rounded 10mm dp nut.

no, just means they are put together from parts on ebay...lol.

I know my greddy turbo kit sucks, never said it didn't. Easy to upgrade though.

The logic just doesnt make sense,,, start off with cheap parts, if those break, because they're cheap, you'll replace them with cheaper parts? does this make sense to anyone else...
Good Luck though...
