Had project crx repainted. Picking it up today from the body shop. List of work done so far:

New clear corners
New bottom turn signals
New rear taillights
Entire car painted stock white
Painted all black moldings low gloss black

Suspension is coming next =)

crx was a very nice car decades back. i could still remembered i was driving civic 83. haha.. old days.

new one always looks better, no comparison with ur 8.

it does beat the 8 in a few ways:

gets 40 mpg vs 16 mpg

AC is way colder than the RX8 (maybe due to older freon?)

doesnt burn oil but occaisionally leaks oil haha

suprisingly you can pack a shyt load of junk and stuff into the crx

like 2200-2300 lbs, with the B16 turbo im gonna swap it into, that equals a 240 whp car that can run low 12's on street tires..maybe even 11's..hehehe

^^^^ +1 i rarely gas up in the car and when i only put in 20 bucks or so 87 octane..haha when i take the rx8 out i easily spend 40-50 just to pull it out the garage..hahaha

if i swap the motor along with the turbo, i';d probably be getting 25mpg, which still isnt that bad compared to the 8.. =)

true, thats still pretty darn good.

imo tho, i think a stock GSR motor is more than enough for the CRX, but then again i have never been all into power. im more about the smooth power delivery and good handling. my dad tells me i should get a turbo for the 8 haha.

anywho, very nice crx, good luck with it!

for the price of a gsr installed i can get a B16 turbo installed. So why not? I love that setup. =) i would love to have a GSR turbo!

its going to be my race car. Im not installing all that jdm crap. like jdm coin tray, jdm mirrors, etc, i really never understood why those ghey honda guys do that ****.. All i know is, its going to be ***** out fast when done..
