no not pepto......
Zaino Z2!!! did my first ever Zaino today...to my black 8 and WOW is all i can say. its like a mirror.
of course now it is beginning to rain so i wont get to show it off at all, but at least it is done for the spring and "love bug" season (anyone who has ever been to FL in april/ may or oct knows what i am talking about - they are little fruit fly experiments gone wrong years ago and will eat through paint if left splattered on there for more than a few days). so now they will come off nice and easy each night when i spray wash them off.
here are some pics in the overcast afternoon before rain:

oh sorry...i meant to talk about what i did, thanks for reminding me.
i did:
wash with dawn
claybar
wash with zaino wash
z5/zfx combo - let dry half hour
buff off
spray z6 - wipe off with microfibre towel
z5/zfx combo - let dry half hour
buff off
spray z6 - wipe off with microfibre towel
z2 (pink stuff) - let dry all day (went to baseball game..haha)
buff off
spray z6 - wipe off
thats what i did....so pretty much it has 3 coats of polish on it since the z5 and z2 are interchangeable polishes.
and again, the pics dont do it justice. my buddy was over when i first started buffing off the final coat and he said "man it looks like a mirror!"
BlueGrim is right, it is WELL worth the money and the time.
i will probably do another coat or two next weekend or after before our Orlando meet.
KingCobra...i saw your thread, that yellow looks great all shiny...i had a cougar the same color for the past three years....kinda miss the bright color, but i get way more comments on the road with this car.

whoa, that looks like you just brought it home from the dealers...good job! how long total did it take to put on all those coatings??
btw, i'm reporting you...your car is taking up 2 parking spots, one of which happens to be handicapped parking...i may accidentally lose my proof depending on how much $$$ you got

"black is beautiful" or "once you go black you'll never go back" could both apply here!! ;-)
BRx8....one specifically for you "the check is in the mail" haha
seriously though:
wash-dry / clay bar / wash-dry: 1.5 hours
first coat z5/zfx: half hour
wait 15 minutes for dry (hot FL sun)
buff / spray z6-dry : 20 minutes
(2nd coat z5/zfx / buff / spray-dry i moved a little faster) half hour
coat of z2: 45 minutes (took my time and put on a good coat)
buff that off 6 hours later (after bball game): half hour or so
so i guess the actual work time is about 4 - 4.5 hours plus wait time of about 1.5 hours (z2 should be about an hour since I put it on thicker than the first coats without the aid of the zfx also)
once again: WELL WORTH IT!!!

err...its Pinhy....but what the heck is a pnhy anyway?
Pinhy (pronounced Pinhi) is a golf term meaning even with the flag (or pin as it is sometimes called)
