silvereight.. regarding ur treo650.. do you have that internet acces plan? cuz if you dont, the pay as you go gets quite expensive cuz the treo checks for emails every 30 min or so.. if u want, you can call and have them block data services. this way, you cant go online, nor will the phone automatically try to retrieve emails, thus you wont be charged. the draw back is that your 1x national acces gets blocked at the same time, so no picture messaging..

what format does a sound need to be in to function as a ringtone? My Nokia shows the ones that I have purchased to be in .midi format, is there a conversion program out there?

L8, I've downloaded the ringtone but have not installed yet. If a conversion is required, I will do it this evening and host the new file on my site as well so you guys will not have to deal with that. Stay tuned.

i just sold my treo650 for verizon on ebay.. practically brand new.. extras were a car charger, 512mb mini SD card, and a body glove.. sold for $350, which is ok. i was looking for 375-400 but wutever.. i got a LG VX9800.. i couldnt afford the stupid 45 bux a month to go online with the treo, PLUS 89 a month for minutes.. and i really wanted the picture messaging.. eh it was too much phone for me anyway.. i like my LG.. less bulky too.. and u gotta love that 1.3 megapixle camera.. so cleeeeeeear.. the only thing i dont like is that u can only take 15 sec movies.. on the treo, ive take up to 10 min b4, tho the quality was a 5.5/10

Well, I have this awesome mp3 of Zoom-Zoom and I can listen to it on my phone but it's not recognized as a useable ringtone. I think it needs to be a midi file? Any suggestions? I thought I'd be able to convert it but I don't find any way? I'm all ears!

I am pretty sure it is Fox Media that has the short ringtone and the long ringtone. I'd have to look for sure but it costs $2.99. I'm trying to figure out how to get it into my phone, too. I have an LG4015, nothing fancy.

Here are three different versions of it. It's different from where I found it before, cheaper also. The first time I found them was linked out of the Mazda site, so I will look there and post the other link to where I found them if I do.

Well, I see now that the link doesn't work properly even though I copied it from the search results. Well, just type in "zoom" or "zoom zoom zoom" in the top right corner in the search box and you will find them.

Do this link from Mazda and you'll find it.

EDIT: Nevermind. I see that nothing pulls up when I click to download the ringtone. The website can't find it anymore. Just do the search from the Fox link above. I guess it's my night for useless links!!!!

Yea, I see FOX has 3 different ones you can dload. But the MP3 that Gomez sent me is the coolest of all. It has real deep base and the little kid saying "Somethins Up" at the start. It's more accurate to the commercial but better.
I may have to go with the FOX site Bunny if I can't get the MP3 file converted. Thanks for your help.

If you have a bluetooth link on your PC, you could transmit it to your phone via that.....
I hooked the phone up to my PC via the USB port and transferred the file using the aforementioned Motorola Mobile Phone Tools utility. My phone came with the appropriate cable and the software, but you can use your digital camera cable (I actually use my Canon camera cable) and download the software off the net if you don't have it.
Cheers,
Gomez.
