Hello RX8Club members!

Here we have a completely bone stock, gray 2004 MT RX-8 (VIN #JM1FE173540120559) I've decided I should part out. I bought this RX-8 as a parts car for my main RX-8 and it's served me well, I took the eccentric shaft position sensor from this car. Other than that, I've done nothing with it and the car has been sitting in this Harbor Freight garage you see in the pics for quite a while. I always had some plans for what I wanted to do with it because the car is in great condition, but things change as I'm sure we all know... Thus, I'd love to open this parts car up to anyone else that may need it.
The engine has been diagnosed as low compression (I have the numbers from it's previous test) but I was thinking of holding onto the short block/trans for my own personal collection but I could be convinced otherwise if you really need either or both... also the car has about 112,000 miles on it fyi.

Nonetheless, basically everything is up for grabs. I'll throw some things up here, but all you have to do is ask, and I'll let you know if I have what you're looking for. I'll try to keep this first post updated with things that have been sold as well.

So I'll start with the basic stuff people look for, everything will be plus shipping as per usual and prices are negotiable of course
- Catalytic Converter............ $300 (Pending Sale)
- OEM Air Box.................. $50
- MAF Sensor................... $60
- Air Pump .................. $30
- Front seats (driver side has minor wear you can see in the pic).............. $200
- Etc..... Shoot me an offer! Literally everything is here, I think it even has the flat tire repair kit in the trunk but I'll have to double check

Have almost exact one sitting in my garage, with 19k on the clock. I am looking for a cover, that goes on the rear right passenger side rear pilar, is oval sort of in shape, is only a cover to an access point for a bolt.

Very cool! Is this cover in the trunk or inside the car? You have a picture?

Here is a shot of where it is, about eye level if you were sitting in back seat. Tried salvage yards around here in Kingman, no one has an 8 on the lot. This is the fancy model, with Bose stereo, sunroof, and wing on the trunk. Just put all new coils, wires, plugs in, is running nice now, was getting a miss and after searching on these forums, did what it suggested and problem fixed.

I tried to send a pic of the missing cover, got a message has to be approved by moderator...…...I don't understand why, been on many sites/forums and never have had any issues, except on this site.
Anyhow, the cover is in the passenger compartment, right over the right rear passenger seat, on that pilar, between the window and the rear window.

Im interested in the front air dam. If it has the aero side skirts, id be interested in those too. Could you pm me a pic of the car side on ?
Does it have the trunk organizer/cover ? Then again, that would be carpeted. Mine is Black, but i doubt they all were.

It does have the aero side skirts, I will get you a picture from down low but it will still be on an angle since the car is in its pop up garage. I don't quite know what you mean by "carpeted trunk organizer"?

My trunk has nothing in the center, just the depression that apparently can be filled with an organizer and flat carpeted cover to make the whole trunk floor appear flat.
Ill see if i can find a pic. Possibly the organizer was separate from the cover, im not sure.

Ahh I see. I know my main RX8 never had anything like that, and I don't think this one does either. However, I will check on it.

You just want the bracket for the alternator? And someone else has claimed the center panel, but the shift **** is up for grabs still.
