i can tell you 2 are in perfect condition. 1 has 2 spots of curb rash (2 mm thick, inch long, not noticeable) and the other has a chip (size of the 0 on your keboard) and a 1 inch long scratch, looks like a eagle attacked it something, just a fine hair line smooth scratch.

I would trade you, Anthony, but you should be able to easily find some one to do this with locally, which would be a heck of a lot easier. But just in case you want to come to NJ to inspect my wheels you're more than welcome. I'll even buy you a beer (if you're of age).

i'm somewhat interested, and somewhat local. i can't really decide if i like those wheels, but i'm looking for a change from my oem's. pm me - not sure what a fair deal would be for a trade + cash. fyi i'd keep my tires b/c i have 245's and i cannot go back to 225's!! the 40th anny wheels are 18x8, right? (i think all rx-8 wheels have been that size...)

 

the more i look at them, the more i like them. i just love the r3 wheels, and these look similar but not quite as cool!! anyway, pm me. i'll actually be in houston next week, although w/o my 8...

mine would to be trade my 18x8 oem wheels for your 18x8 40th anny wheels. no tires (b/c i have 245/40's). i'm having trouble coming up w/ an appropriate dollar amount to pay you...2 of my wheels have curb rash similar to what yours show. i can send you pics tonight when i get off work...

$1200 might be a little steep for me for an overall value (just saw that price in post #4) - i guess it depends on what mine are worth to you.

 

hey 2tone, if you get those and want them powder coated to match the R3's I can help you out with that, I "know people".

who does powdercoating in austin?? i was going to have gene do it but he said they don't. eventually either going to get new brakes/rotors or powdercoat the oem ones. oh, i got konis shocks and a cf trunk lid to get rid of my rust spoiler holes by the way.

i took some pics of my rims. i have 2 good ones, 1 about equal to your worst, and one w/ a decent amt of curb rash. it's all on the outer edge, nothing on the spokes. it's a lot but i forgot until i knelt down to take a pic for you. anyway, i can send pics but thought i'd tell you if you're looking for mint, consider me out...

 

if you're willing to stick to the price, you can always fix em yourself, or compensate for them somehow. a lil rash i don't mind, like in m pcitres. but hard curb hits are....i'd have to see.

 

two wheels are good. one wheel is like yours, and one wheel is borderline with curb rash. again, it's just on the outer edge. but i'll send you pics. i'm not interested in fixing them myself, but i'd certainly compensate the overall price if you're still willing.

fyi it is JUST curb rash...i've never HIT a curb. just didn't want you to think i nailed a curb something. no dents or bends, just rash. anyway, let me get my pics.
