rofl, ACT said their CW is better balanced. cuz omg it was originally balanced for 4AT front counter weight not the 6MT.
for me, I don't give a ****, factory balancing was never perfect to begin with and I use stock counter weight in my NYC 8 without 1 bit of an issue.
I do have a ACT CW though, got it for less than 100 bux couple yrs ago. but I need it for my 2nd RX8 soon I think.

The only way for it to be better balanced is to have the entire rotating system balanced. Otherwise they are just guessing.
Poor balance from the factory is one of the leading causes of poor Renesis engine life, excessive bearing wear, etc. supposedly they did better on the S2 engines, but still not anywhere near what a pro engine builder will provide.

I kept reading that the front automatic counterweight was different and the rear needed to be different too for 6speed use. Finally looked at the parts and they're the same... I'll just buy one from mazdaspeed motorsports it's only like 110 from them IIRC.
