does an rx8 really need a short throw? i mean i've always used them in my hondas but this cars shifter is already pretty short. how big is the difference?

The throws are a bit shorter but the main goal of the AFE short shifter is feel.

The only way I can describe it is rifle bolt feeling, it's amazing. Lets just say if I were to get another stock RX8, it's probably the first or second mod I would do, I can never go back to the stock shifter.

This is actually my second one. I sold the first one in preparation to sell my car. But, the car just doesn't seem right without it.
