oh ok i thought maybe it was the fake carbon so it would be easy to do... well in that case 80 dollars isn't that bad of a price

yeah i thought about doing stickers but they would never hold up outside and especially not on the driver side so ive been messing with carbon for a bit now and finally got it down as far as product just working on experience for more complex parts

The car in question is mine:

I'll be running a bunch of custom made pieces from Josh (bumblebeerx8) It is in fact REAL carbon fiber and he's a great guy to work with. I originally contacted him to buy one item he had forsale but the guy can pretty much do anything you want him to so he's the man for the job.

I'll have some pics up and a review in a week or so when I receive some more of my larger items.

Yea, I can tell it's real CF. Nice work. I know the skills and it's not as easy or inexpensive as some may think.

wait... So this doesn't really just stick to the outside of the paint? Does this replace the actual handle piece? If so, I'll buy it.

it just sticks on to outside of paint making a whole door handle would be very tough and extensive not even seibon does it for their doors i dont think the cost on a true door handle would be worth the trouble

Oh I understand. I was just making sure. The way you posted up there made it kind of sound like that. I didn't know if you could just detach a faceplate and replace it with this carbon one, in which case I would have snatched this right up. You did a superb job and I'll be sure to ask my friend if he's interested (he has an 8 too). He might be interested in this. Good luck with the sale!

I hear that. I looked into doing it myself. Have done a bit of my own custom work to the 8 with fiberglass, etc.
