FWIW, the ash tray lid is apparently not available as a separate item. The right side spring hinge broke on mine and I ordered new from the dealer. I got an enitre ashtray assembly, including the removable ash catcher, lid, and housing. I reused the lighter and it's plug/socket.

Having the spring break is evidently quite common, according to the dealer. Initially, I thought it was a plastic pin, like the left side, that had broken.

Don't know what I paid for the assembly, as it was buried in some other charges, but I'm sure it was too much.

Are you sure the lid is the issue? Just wondering, having just gone through this myself.

By the way, the DIYs on here didn't seem to cover the entire job, namely the lighter socket removal, but the shop manual helped finish the job.
