you know you could get NRG or Tein for less then that. Something special about the Endura Tech's?

 

Mainly just the look. They are carbon fiber and i'm going for a mild CF theme under the hood.
I know there are cheap CFs being sold. They are lower quality but I'll settle for them if I don't get a bite on the Endura Techs.

edit: I see that NRG has a cf looking damper. I'm avoiding those because I've heard some testimonials about NRGs putting, er, a "damper" on people's hoods. They kinda, bend the hood over time. Tiens are great but they only make'm in that teal, no cf :-/

 

NRG has 2 sets of dampers: one for heavy hoods and one for light (CF) hoods.

People who bend their hoods are probably getting the heavy one. For the RX-8, you should grab the light one (for CF hoods) even with the OEM hood since the OEM hood is very light.
