F/S helix exhaust 400 in cali local pick-up

drive by: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpfIjLg7UZw 42 sec, 2:05 are the drive bys
Look at the links; I paid 700 plus 20 for paypal.. 720 total.
Selling for 400
Why 300 cheaper, to account for the modified crappy welds and scraps on the lower bracket, and misc light scratches that do not show in the photos or while it’s on the car. fitment is good, have all hardware and gaskets
I bought the exhaust for sentimental value before I realized I would be making these soon.
Sounds very very nice, better top end power, less back pressure so below 6k rpm throttle response is softer
If you buy this exhaust be warned it is for looks and above 6250k power when the auxiliary ports kick in, this exhaust will be great for turbo, is bad for N/A
If used on a turbo car, you’ll be happy
The next helix style exhaust will be designed for N/A application, if i have a volunteer locally that has a turbo car then i can make a dyno proven exhaust for turbo app too.
Niel, don’t take offense to my assessment of the exhaust, I just wish that the discrepancies and faults of this exhaust were listed.
p.s. Please remember that this is a proto-type exhaust.
p.p.s. Exhaust will be left on car for buyer to see, feel and hear in person so that their is a complete understanding of everything at sale.

Are you implying that it makes LESS power for an N/A?
And none of this "dibs" nonsense, I'm located in Sacramento with money in hand and been looking for an exhaust setup and picking it up this week would be prefered. Lemme know by what you meant.

throttle response is different, when you step on the gas.. below 5k, you dont feel that little jerk...
but when the auxilary ports open it pulls good
i would need to test it next to a stock car, i have not put it on a dyno yet
but i would recommend this exhaust for turbo or if you want this for the looks...
im already losing 300 so i will not sell it for any less

if anyone local is serious, come buy to see and hear it before you buy, bring cash
Macius8, 400 plus shipping cost might com out to a price of a new nice exhaust from another name brand company... just something to think about.

Im would also like to know what the main difference is between this exhaust and the one ocming out ofr the N/A as well as the difference in price.
But as far as I'm concerned, its sold if you hold it til Saturday morning when I can drive down there from Sacramento.
We'll slap it on, I'll throw the stock crap in the trunk and drive it home.

Hahaha, I'm glad none of the other tuner car websites do the whole "dibs" thing.
Either you want it or you don't, either you have the money or you don't.
Back to DSMTalk I go, bbl.
