Rosenthal Mazda sells the key blank for about $40, I think.

RR... will the corners be able to work as blinkers? Too bad you don't have the tails, headlights, HID fogs, and auto headlights module. I would have been very interested in those.

/raises hand

The FCC ID on the remotes that came with my car is KPU41805. The FCC ID on the switchblade I "mated" and had cut for my 04 is KPU41788

that is the problem, its not just $10 more.. that is an uncut brand new key. these are precut for his car USED switchblades. so a blank has to be ordered and filled and then cut. I only asked $10 off to cover for the need of a new uncut key. again, I wish him luck on selling a USED ALREADY CUT switchblade for $10 more than new uncut. sorry to hear of his car, its unfortunate, but when making an offer on a posted price is fine by forum rules and made no wrong in doing so. I only became irritated when he came back with a harsh firm stand (no-give) in what I read as a dick response for again, asking for $10 off a USED ALREADY CUT key. I'm done, good luck on selling your stuff OP. and good luck mork on going through life without getting your *** kicked.

No, they are not all that ID. 04's have had problems with different Ids / Id combinations from what I've read.

There's a DIY in the DIY section that has images of the actual Mazda mating procedures -- 1 is the procedure for mating the remote -- 2 is the procedure for binding the chip to the car. To perform #2 you must have two operable keys (valet works - i can vouch for it as can countless others).

hey everyone.... sorry, i've been at work all day.

as the nerd said, the clear corners are sold....

For those who actually understand my situation, I thank you for you seeing why I don't appreciated thread shitting.

and again...... please stop sending me messages asking for random parts. I DON'T HAVE THE CAR ANYMORE. Just think of it as this, before you start typing me a PM saying "hey do you have xxxx part?", just assuming the answer is NO. Sorry, it's really getting bothersome.
