selling my no name black rims and my greddy SP2 both trades for stock rims and stock exhaust so local ONLY may consider shipping if the price is right ... again this is a feeler as im not sure if i will need to sell or not ... the reason im selling the sp2 is for some crazy reason cops have been giving me trouble lately but if i go to court and case gets dismissed i wont sell the exhaust as for the rims perfect condition no curbing i prefered the look of the stocks painted black so i wanna trade ... specs are same as stock the weigh 20lb just a feeler so let me know if anyone is interested and ill post detailed pics ... you can see the rims in my profile albums and the exhaust too ...

same as stock ... 18x8 the offset is a little more flush than stock though ...

 

just want to know if it will clear the BBK!

 

idk if it will the size is same as stock and i just checked there is a 2 finger gap between the rotor and the rim and 1 finger between caliper and ring so not sure

 

Does it say on the back side of the rim what the offset is?

 

i think its +40 i just looked on the box not sure maybe ill take a rim off and look

It does not sound that loud to me but guess its what the cops think they hear?

Maybe if you tell judge, I have gotten rid of that exhaust and installed an oem one
Maybe he will dismiss the ticket?

well actually im fighting the ticket coz my exhaust isnt that loud at all the cop was just having a bad day and pulled me over coz he "thought my inspection sticker was out of date" i dont see how the hell he saw it when im going 50 but he says he did and then when i drove away he pulled me over AGAIN sayin my car is too loud looked under saw the cat still gave me a ticket ... WTF but yea my lawyer should take care of it he says we will win but this is a just in case feeler the rims i want gone though i like the stockers black better

from what i remember when i checked a few years ago coz i had straight pipes on my cobra if they dont see a car they can write you a citation and void your inspection which you would have to redo after the cat was put back on ... i know places that pass you regardless so i dont care i drove my cobra for over a year and it was hella loud and never had trouble this guy was just a douche

Your exhaust is not illegal. That cop is retarded. I'm sure all those vipers leaving out of hennessey are WAY louder lol.

Sorry for the threadjack, but I went with my buddy to get his procharged 06 gt tuned at Gearheads, and the owner had his supercharged/twin turbo'd (tricharged?) GT500 there. Only mod was the twin turbos, and he revved it up for us a little. You couldn't even hear the turbos until he got on it pretty good lol! 800whp quasi-sleeper

i hope i wont have to get rid of the sp2 ... and im second guessing the rims too now lol but yea i LOVE the sound of the sp2 prefect for my taste i think i will win in court so lets see what happens my lawyer has a strong case

 

whens the next time your free ... i sliced 2 fingers to the bone 2 days ago so im on sick leave from work coz of the surgery i had to have to fix the fingers so im free all day after school thats 2pm onwards we should meet up and take pics or sth
