FS: AP pulley full set, Viper 791XV
#2
Located in SoCal, but will ship.
The AP pulleys were purchased from another member on this site about a year ago. I don't remember if it was ever installed on his car, but it was never installed on mine. It has been sitting in my garage since I bought it.
The belts have no crack in them, they look new. The smaller pulley have minor scuffs in them, but I was told by the forum member and a mechanic that it doesn't get in the way of performance. $200 OBO
The Viper 791XV was also bought from another forum member here and its been sitting in my garage. The box is open and looks kinda tattered, but the components are new.
$100 OBO

Yeah, its pricey it takes precision . But it's a local shop and I don't know how honest they are with their labor hours and I don't know how much they're charging for the viper unit I'm pretty sure they're charging more than the price its being sold online.
http://www.costhelper.com/cost/cars/...tallation.html (I dunno how reliable this site is)
Viper alarms come with their own sirens and is complex to install due to remote start and advanced sensors.

It's a two-way remote start alarm system.
I wouldn't recommend installing the remote start if you're on a manual. I mean..you could, but if you're in gear it'll launch your car forward and cause you to stall. But if you're on an automatic, its awesome to have.
Two-way meaning that the little blue LCD remote thingy shows where the car was hit or if someone is "proximal" to your car.
I called a tech and he said you could probably get this installed for 200-250.

You need to have it installed by a DEI professional shop. I don't think a Mazda dealer is one.

I just found a list of places that could install the Viper system within 5 miles from me lol.
I might call around when I get a chance to and see how much it would cost to install and if it a good price for me I definitely want to buy it.

I'm in SoCal near Anaheim :P. The viper if klanham08 doesn't want it, its yours. Pulleys you can come get anytime lol.
You know, I have no idea. Original seller never explained to me why he sent two. Both of the pulleys are fine, one of them is slightly discolored on the front, it's the left one in the picture.

The car will not start if its in gear. Basically the way it works is when you park the car, you put it in neutral, activate the remote start even though it is still running, exit the car, activate it again which will kill the car, then arm it. As long as the alarm has not been triggered or you disarm it, opened the door, and armed it again, it will start just fine. But if the car is tampered with, it wont start. I have one, works great!

OR you can do like I do, and just never leave your car in gear when you shut it off (I have a remote start on my MT). I was never one of the people who put their MT car in gear when they park anyway. The clutch interlock switch gets bypassed, and you use the remote start just like you would on an AT car...as long as you are not absent minded and do not leave the car in gear, there is no problem.
And really, if you did put the car in gear, as long as you engage the e-brake pretty firmly, it is unlikely the starter would be able to overcome it. Sure the car would lurch some and maybe even move a few inches, but it probably would not be able to start or anything.
