FS: Beefy Rear Sway bar end links
#52
I'll get some as well, of the Type 2 Modified (non-adjustable) end-links. <----- Adjustable to desired height, then LocTite to hold in place.
Decals shipping!
EDIT: OK Swoope, here are some pics of the Type 2 End Links, these have been modified by removing the 2 Locking Nuts and replaced with LocTite (high strength.) The handling is different from the original, in that the rear feels a little more "tense." As always, your input is extremely appreciated!!!

While installing the front End Links themselves have no negative affect on alignment, it could be beneficial when corner balancing to have the adjustment flexibility to suit the type of driving you are building your car for. Preload is a double edge sword, the more I work with it the more I learn about it's good side and it's evil side.

The second image covers the problem, and included in that image sprayed in red is the current alignment lobe. Also seen is the sway bar with yellow dot, and finally the ground. It appears the hint is pointing to the orientation of the sway bar, specifically where the yellow dot portion is.
Can you be a little more specific swoope? From what it sounds like, the sweet spot is somewhere between the initial setup and half an inch taller than current setup.

UPDATE
I did have a problem while installing mine: The threading on the nuts sheared off as I was torquing them; I've never seen such a thing happen. I contacted Lebren and he's shipping me a new pair, so +1 on the customer service. Neither one of us are sure what the issue is exactly, but he's making sure that the nuts he uses this time are of high-quality steel, and should not have any of this issue.
A little glitch, but the seller has been very helpful in fixing the issue. Overall, I think you can be fairly confident ordering these in general, especially considering the price. I'll let everyone know how this ends up....
For what it's worth, end links should be tightened to spec, which may or may not be more than your hand-tightening. Factory spec is 31 to 44 ft-lbs; for larger aftermarket bars/links you should definitely use the upper end of this range.

First, I'd like to thank elysium19 for sharing his experience with us! The hardware I had used will be no more and I will be disposing them in the proper receptacle. I will be replacing enysium19's End Links Free of charge, in addition to sending out replacement Grade 8 Zink Plated hardware to those whom have purchased LEBREN End Links. I want you to have ONLY the BEST!
LEBREN End Links are most likely the only Standard hardware on the RX8, the Rod End Hex (built into end links) uses a 1/2" open end. and the replacement Grade 8 Rod End to threaded rod and nylon-insert locknut to sway bar will both be 9/16" open end plus should be torqued in addition with a 9/16" socket. Hand tightening is only used for shipping and these must be tightened to the desired height.
Thanks for your support!

Bump!
Just wanted to say great product! I ordered the rears and they were shipped out in a rush to me so I could make an event yesterday (broke my rears with the progress swaybars)
The rear endlinks held up great even with 3 drivers beating on my car. Thanks again for shipping them out so quickly!!

Yep, would you rather have the rear swaybar or suspension bend instead, because the only way you can bend the endlink like that is to install the rear bar upside down. Even the stiffest front or rear aftermarket bars won't bend the factory links.

Team with no disrespect that issue was discussed ages ago. The need for replacement end links came from the previous ownership. With a number of sets on the road and the only complaint being a stripped nut I would say the design is extremely competent.

Just came back this weekend from a 300 mile cruise through the best roads ever and these performed flawlessly as usual. Blew a radiator and a water pump belt but at least it was after the fun on the way back
