FS: Brand new VDI kit
I have a brand new VDI kit for sale. I was originally going to sell it to another member but he bailed out so now I need to get rid of this invoice.
They retail for 2200 without shipping, and I'm asking for $1500, shipping included. If you're going to be at SSX I'll even help install them for you.
I don't have any pics of the kit itself, but I also have a VDI on my car so if you want plenty of pictures of how they look check out my myspace page.
It is a bolt-on kit, and the only fabrication required is to cut out a bit on the inside of the fender. If you're going to SSX I'll do it all for you. All necessary hardware is included with the kit. If you're not planning on attending SSX I'll still make myself available to answer any installation questions you might have. I put my kit on doing 90% of the work myself in about 6 hours.

I may be interested, and I am going to SSX!
Just bought my 4th set of wheels though (feeling like a girl with a shoe fettish!)
and all new carpc components, so I will have to get on the ball here and see what I can do money wise... It'd really make my trip worthwhile to come back home with VD kit installed *and* have my first Sevenstock event under my belt!!

OK sounds great, I am working on things now. If somebody jumps ahead of me though, go for it. This was something I was planning in the future, but happy to do it sooner if something like this falls in my lap... What about the wiring extensions though? Not sure I'd want to do that on location??? something like 22 wires on the drivers side alone? I assume there isn't a plug in harness extension?

Extending the wires is easy-peasy. It's all in one harness. All I have to do it cut some electrical tape to free up the slack and it'll be no problem. Then all you have to do is wrap everything up tightly with electrical tape to make it waterproof and bam, job is done. I've had my kit on there for about 4 months now and I've had no problems with leakage.

I have made up my mind fo sho! but, I am counting on a couple of auctions of mine to finish out nice enough to scoop up the hinges... got 5.5 days left till they end... if I make it I make it, but if somebody else gets em, then I got some SSX spending money!
