FS: COBB Access Port and Spark Plugs

PRICE REDUCED!!! SEE BELOW

I have a used Cobb accessport in excellent working condition. For 04-08 RX8 6spd. Comes with the maps from Cobb. Does not come with MM maps. Some scuff marks on the outside *SOLD*. Also, a set of brand new NGK spark plugs *SOLD*. I take money order or paypal (no fees).

is the pricing on cobb fixed? it's a bit high.
btw, I haven't been reading so much onto this new Cobb accessport thing. what is an MM?

just checked and read up.
it seems to be a really good product. what maps do you have on there? and how much will be to get the mazda manic map?
and does it work on your car?

the price is very reasonable. the maps that came with the accessport. works ok for stock. about $200-$300 to get mm maps (not exactly sure).

stupid question - but dose that ap only add 5 % hp - i looked all over - dosent seem like you get alotta performance outta something that costs so much ??? is it realy worth it ? alot of people here talk abouot them, but no one realy says what the straight up gains are ?? im just curious, seein g youve used it

The gains that you care about most are not always HP gains. Things like lower AFR for better fuel mileage is more important to some. Or turning on your cooling fans for longer periods of time at a lower temp to help cool things off and do less damage. 5HP out of a stupid electric box is pretty good if you ask me all things considered.

true - thanks for the info - i put 10 grand into my mustang b4 i got the rx8 - so im tryying to hold back on buying a bunch of stuff for the 8 =- i know once i get one thing, its all over.i went crazy with the stang, bought a tuner, and your right, helped in more ways than just the hp and tq gains... thanks for the info peeps

Cobb AP is a great deal if you're self tuning or have a tuner mechanic already

$475 + $300 for mm service = 775

If you go with MM, you're looking at $695 for his Cobb AP and his tunes come with for free and 6 months of tuning based on specific car mods.

I'm not trying block the sale. I'd buy if I wasn't going to rely on MM for my tunes, so saving up a few more $$ for his all inclusive package.

I personally wouldn't recommend relying on the Cobb maps. Good luck! I hope you find a self tuner to buy it. Also a good investment for a mechanic!

I bought mine for $450 and it was one of the best things i bought for my car. Before getting this I had a Greddy SP2 Catback and AEM cold air intake, I noticed some gains but nothin way over the top, but once i installed the Cobb AP It really brought the car to life and the car performed better, ran smoother, sounded better. If you plan to do any mods to your car I highly recomend buying the AP first.
