I bought this unit about 2 weeks ago. Have had it installed and used it maybe.. twice? I can deal with my iPod FM transmitter for music and I find myself needing the cash at this time.

This is the Dice iPod R2 (text displayed) Mazda adapter. It also has a AUX input for other audio sources. Your radio will need to have the "SAT" button with no installed SAT radio to be compatible with this unit.

$135 shipped, $130 local pickup. I'm in NYC. If paying via Paypal +3% fee.

Will also do the install in NYC (or traveling distance) if anyone wants it done and doesn't want to deal with taking the stock radio out for a minimal fee.

still in car.. it's nothing big. the main unit with 2 wires, one to the radio and one to the ipod.. that's about it.

 

does the text auto scroll?

 

no, there are no ipod adapters that scroll text on the rx8.
