TX FS: Greddy Turbo Kit, Autopower Roll Cage, More

Turbo Kit Sold, many parts still available:

Autopower Roll Cage = $475 delivered in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas. [or meet halfway elsewhere]. I paid $500+ and approx $200 shipping.

Roll Cage Details

I bought this kit from VividRacing in February of 2008. It is the Street Sport with bolt-in harness bar.
I wrapped it upon arrival, and the black paint on the roll bar is still immaculate.
This fits better in a non-sunroof 8, but fit in my sunroofed 8, minus the dome light and with a crimped head liner.

Magnecor Spark Plug Wires: $80 Shipped
Less than 1000 miles on them.

Coil packs with <1000 miles on them. $80 Shipped

E-Manage Ultimate [no harness, just the USB output cable] $300 Shipped

Oil Catch Can: $40 Shipped

Sparco Seat Brackets [NEW IN WRAPPING] [2] These Retail for $99. I will throw in the hardware for free, $180 shipped for Driver + Passenger.

Hardware for Brackets

G-Force Harnesses [NIB] [2] and Accessories
These retail for $195 per set. I will sell them together for $350.
Camlock. Black.

I am currently done with the RX-8, and have parts lying everywhere. I will update this thread with more parts when I get the opportunity.

Interested Parties, please post questions in this thread, as many of you will have the same questions. Paypal verified only for payment, unless you are paying via bank check in person.

Thanks!

Michael

I thought 250 was for a stock greddy turbo? I was under the impression that the Mazsport upgraded turbos were capable of closer to 300whp.

On the non-upgraded turbo, the car made ~240 but boost dropped off around 7k rpm.

Naturally I wasn't happy with the tune, so I had it re-tuned in Dallas at Rotary Performance after upgrading the turbo. Rotary Performance did not provide me with a dyno. They tuned with my intent to track the car in mind, with stock boost settings, conservatively.

The car was caged with no rear seats/interior at that time, and weighed less than our Boxster S track car [when the rear rotor lost compression and I didn't want to risk driving the car, we used our car trailer to trailer it back to Houston, and the trailer sat higher (less weight) than the Porsche]

I can get a mod list and pictures of Evo if need be [best friend's car]. Basics would be Evo 8 with cam gears, new manifold, Evo 9 turbo, full 4" and catless, 265's all the way around.

Dibs have been called on strakes pending payment, with one person waiting in line.
Offer has been made on Turbo kit + oilpan, minus some of the upgrades. I will provide details on what is left if money changes hands.

Thanks!
Michael

Street Sport. It has the removable harness bar [the "street" does not] but does NOT have the cross bar like the "race."

You can see the legs and harness bar in the floor in the picture, along with the main loop.

I can deliver to San Antonio this week if need be...have a suburban, and can guarantee that gas will be cheaper than shipping.

No, it was not made for sunroof.

However, it fit in my sunroofed 8 with the dome light removed.

Shipping was $200-220, and I'm offering to deliver. Keep that in mind.
