I purchased the X in July for $1499 and used it my Pettit Racing Super Charged RX8 until yesterday 11-21-07. I had my RX8 ECU recalibrated by Pettit and I no longer require the X to run the car. This is a complete kit and includes the laptop adapter (dongle) with two MAP settings loaded by Mazsport (Scott) whom tuned my car back in Aug.

Because of the superior fuel and ignition timing control of the Interceptor-X EMS, power levels exceeding 290 rwhp have been realized with no other component changes for Greddy Turbo users. Horsepower increase of 20-30rwhp have been achieved with no other modifications. In addition, because the tuner will have complete control over ignition timing, you could safely run considerably more boost pressure while still running pump gas or may tune the vehicle for 87oct on N/A vehicles.

 

I'm considering, only because NO ONE on Earth has an E-Manage Ultimate upgrade kit in stock and it appears as if they won't be anytime soon, either.

You will have to contact Mazsport (Scott) and find out yourself. I'm sure that he can load whaever MAP you desire but he might charge a fee for it.

I will be glad to take the laptop adapter (dongle) to him once you clear with Mazport and payments are made. Mazsport is just 15 minutes from my my work location. Let Scott know that it is the Interceptor X that I (Juan) had installed in the red RX8 with the Pettit Super Charger.

 

what MAPS are loaded into the dongle you're including? Is there the base GReddy MAP already loaded?

 

The two loaded MAPS are the one for my car by Scott and a generic base SC MAP that Scott made for the Pettit SC.

Again, if anyone wants a particular MAP from Mazsport, please contact them and I will be more than happy to take the dongle to Mazsport and have them loaded. You will have to work that out with Mazsport and no additional charge from my part.

Haha, while I appreciate that. The Engine Management is the last major piece of the puzzle, but since I bought a used GReddy kit I still have a bunch of little missing parts I need to fabricate and little trinket parts I need to hunt down.

Anyways, marsredr100, I will know shortly if I am going to buy this or not. I am still debating between the Int-X or the EMU, attempting more research...

Can you please run over to Mazsport and get Scott to load up a base GReddy MAP and a base N/A tune MAP? If you can that would be much appreciated, if he charges you anything (which I doubt) I can refund it

I'm going to pull the funds out of my savings account tonight, the money will be ready by Monday or Tuesday at the latest, let me know if this works for you
