FS: K&N Typhoon Intake (gen 2)
I want to be up front and honest. I purchased this under the assumption that it was a complete intake. When I got it it was missing a few small and inexpensive items. I'll document more of that below, but I wanted that to be the first thing you read so you understood it from the beginning.
The intake has around 5,000 miles on it from what I was informed. It was removed when the previous owners RX-8 was involved in a rear-end accident as right after the damage was fixed the previous owner sold the car.
The intake comes with a MAF sensor already installed, a stock air screen already installed, and a SECOND air screen as well. These are extras that do not come with the intake. This means the intake is essentially already put together and will not require ANY of the stock parts off of your car like a new one would.
The intake is missing the following parts as far as I can tell. They are very MINOR components of the intake and I would estimate should cost no more than $5-$10 to replace at any parts store:
- One "3/8”ODX1/4”IDX1-1/4”L RUBBER" hose. On the instructions list this is the part description R.
- One "HOSE CLAMP; #004 MINI" clamp. On the instructions list this is the part description T.
- One "WASHER; 1"OD" washer. On the instructions list this is part description I. The intake requires two of these. One of them came with the intake.
- One "WASHER; RUBBER 1"OD" washer. On the instructions list this is part description J. The intake requires two of these. One of them came with the intake.
Going here you can see in detail what the parts are:

----------------------------
The only reason I am selling the intake is because I've decided it will be too loud for my tastes after further consideration. I'd rather sell this and pick up a DR mid-pipe to compliment my Borla cat-back.
I am asking $135 shipped and that price is firm.
Thanks!

dude, clean the intake a bit, spray some WD40 make it shine a bit and wait for the right reasonable buyer... the intake looks pretty bad and looks like if it was recycled... just giving you my 2 cent advice ...

The lowest I'll go is $130 shipped (which puts it at more or less $100 plus shipping). If that works let me know and I'll give you my PayPal and get it shipped out the next day.
