It's not that I don't like your idea, it's just that I've had bad experiences working in a Townhouse/Condo setting in the past.
Summary:
Went to a friends Townhouse to do some serious work on another friends' Evo. Oil change, tranny fluid change, coilover install, testpipe install. We only got ½ of the work done when the cops showed up. We lied, said we just changed the oil. The cops bought it and told us to leave.
Long story short, Evo's look retarded with their *** dragging and their nose way up in the air. It also botches up their alignment & tires.
So, for this sale, it's gotta be private property.
Also, don't kick yourself out of the running yet - Decat still has two more days to remember this thread exists.

Here lately I have been putting more money into the Vehicross, and I haven't really wanted to touch much on the 8, but dudes seriously anytime you want you can come over and use my place. You can park about 4 cars in my driveway and then there is the garage that I normally have the 8 in. I have air tools, a nice low profile jack, jack stands, and most common tools you could imagine plus some weird meteric ones to work on the Vehicross beast with.
I still am unsure about spending $150 or so and taking my 8 apart for some used shocks that I probably won't like any more or worse than the stocks. I already have the S Techs on there and was just speaking out loud on the shocks, but fee free to contact me anytime to use the garage, and I will help all I can, but normally I am busy at track meets on the weekends, but normally one of my two roommates is around, and even if I am not here you guys can use my driveway and or garage area. Just PM me details and I will shoot you my number and address, let me know how I can help, but after further thought I will officially pass on the shocks, but thanks again for saving them for me for so long.

If this were 6 months ago I would've had a two car garage in south houston and been willing. I am surprised someone hasn't simply offered to pay shop fees + cash for the swap. Wish I could partake -=(

...you PM'ed me on a daily basis ever since you found this thread, asking for status updates nonstop, and when the parts finally become available to you............. you disappear and go silent for 2 days....

Volcom: you have until Friday to re-appear.
Legend: If Volcom doesn't speak up by Friday, the shocks are yours. If you can work something out with someone to buy the springs at the same time, I'll give you both the discounted set price.

Ouch! that sucks. Hope you feel better, man.
Also, if you need help and/or have any questions, don't be afraid to ask. I'm just as anxious to get these off my car as you are to get them on yours

I'm not trying to be a jerk to Volcom, but he's taking a little bit longer than I thought to get the money for these. The next autocross event is coming up soon, so I need to get rid of these damn things ASAP.
If you're still interested in these PM me. Unless I get a definative "yes" from Volcom within the next several days, I'm going to sell them to the first person who can put the money in my hands, and both cars in a garage.
Also, I thought of a much faster & easier way to do the install. Rather than spend hours dismantling and reassbling the suspension pieces for each car, we can just jack both cars up and "hot swap" the fully-assembled units, and give you my old stock parts after we're done. That way the install takes ONE day, and requires a lot less effort.

I can, but I only have car ports. If Decat doesn't mind us using his garage for our swap, then it's a deal for the set. I got the money, just need to know if you're down on the deal.

you can if you want - wont be much to see. We aren't going to be taking the suspension apart, so all you'll see is how to disconnect and reconnect the full assembly.
