FS: Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.1 Audio Signal Processor LOC

SOLD! Up for sale is one Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.1 Audio Signal Processor and a customized RX-8 console panel for $85 shipped.

This is an advanced audio signal processor and interface device. It allows you to interface your stereo head unit to your aftermarket amplifiers, going way beyond the features of simple line output converters (LOC).

The customized RX-8 console panel is a great touch. It positions the 3Sixty.1 control **** ideally to provide a very integrated installation.

I bought this item used from another forum member this past July and never installed it in my RX-8 prior to recently trading it. Here is what he's said about this unit:
This is from my Mazda RX-8 which has been sold. It was used for a little under a year. It does have some scratches on it from installation, trying to find a spot to hide it under the dash. Unit sounds great and works great.
The MSRP on this item is $399.99. These sell new on eBay for $200.00. You can save yourself some bucks and get a customized console panel for your RX-8 as well.

The users manual and the CD are missing. They are both free downloads from the manufacturers website as provided below.

More detail on this item is available on the Rockford Fosgate website. That page also provides links to the Users Manual and software:

I need to restrict sale of this item to residents of the Unites States only.

I can't comment much on the base RX-8 stereo, since all of my research was focused on the Bose system that was in my 2004 RX-8 Touring edition.

I never got to the point of upgrading my RX-8 audio system, but most folks with the Bose system tap into the signals leading into the amplifier mounted to the bottom of the rear window/trunk deck. That would be feeding the signals before the stock amplifier into the 3Sixty.1. I was going to locate the 3Sixty.1 and the amplifiers in the trunk.

I had purchased two Alpine amps for use with this rig, including the PDX-1.1000 and PDX-4.150. But alas, I never got around to installing this stuff and sold those amps.

These Rockford Fosgate signal processors are highly regarded to serve as "glue" between the head unit and the amplifiers. They are highly programmable and configurable.

I'm not really happy with the solution i picked up instead of this, so i am still interested. I don't see the connector/molex that hooks into the pwr/grnd/rem slots in any of the pics, is it included and functional?
