FOR YOU TRACK/AX JUNKIES ( i am cross posting this from the mazda3forums, i dont have a rx8 but i think someone on this board may be interested in these)


These wheels and tires have 4 auto-x sundays on them, no track use at all. Life remaining is about 85%. RX8 wheels are perfectly true, two have minor curb rash, all have chipping paint from them knocking around together on my tire trailer, especially around the outer edges.

All the details:
RX8 Wheels - 18x8 offset 50 i believe, perfect fit for all 3s, 8s, 5s, etc.
Tires are Hankook z214s in the c50 compound. Road race compound, but great for extra life at auto-x, and they are STICKY. Tires were broken in properly.
Tire size : 225/40/18
Balancing was done at a reputable SAE shop that does a lot of the race tires in my area. They run perfectly true, no wobbles, wheel weights are also covered with alum. tape.

I paid:
Tires: $720
Wheels: $300
Mount and Balance: $156
My total cost: $1175 ish plus tax

Asking $800obo. Prefer not to ship, and will not unmount the tires - Too expensive to unmount them, very very very few shops in my area will even touch this size tire, especially in a race compound.
