FS: SSR Competitions 17x7.5 5x114.3 +42 Gunmetal w/ Silver Lip

Pick up these fantastic wheels today - one of the lightest wheels in this size on the planet at about 13lbs per wheel. I immediately observed improved acceleration and car agility in the autocross after mounting these bad boys on vs my stockies.

No major damage; minor curb rash on two wheels.

Tires come with worn Yoko Advan Neovas - 235/40/17 Front (%0-%5 tread left) and 225/45/17 Rear (%20 left). As I'm too cheap and lazy to dismount the tires, you get them for free. One of the rear tires has a nail which has been holding up strong for two autocross events and lots of highway driving.

Wheels come with all center caps, valve stems, and no-name tuner lugs.

I prefer Southern California buyers as I reside in LA County - will charge PayPal transaction fee + shipping for out-of-state buyers.

$1300 firm.

Thanks for your interest!

Paul

Stock is 8 wide? ****, didn't know that. Ah well, I'll leave it up anyway.

These wheels are still lighter!

Just read off MazdaUSA than the automatic 8's get 16x7.5" -- THESE WHEELS ARE FOR YOU AUTOMATICS! lol

I wonder if there'd be any benefits to the 8's in competition if you ran a shorter tire with these? Ok ok maybe I'm stretchin' it

Dang, I may have to get these for my wife's 3. The tires are useless though, and I'd hate to pay add'l shipping weight for them.

I have the 18x8 48mm offset ones; I believe mine weigh about 17.5lbs. Here they are on my whitewater pearl for reference (not for sale! ):

No problem at all! I found some more pictures, too -- not trying to hijack this thread; honest!

Haha, such nice pictures .. you sure you don't want to pick up these wheels yourself and diversify your portfolio?

Exactly! Shorter wheel/tire up front, get a bit of rake for "free" .. that'd be hot! Do it, do it now!

Good deal. But isn't 13lbs a little too light for street and track use?

Not Autox but full track.

There's such a thing as "too light" for track? I saw Realtime Racing cars running these wheels (might have been their 18in equivalents)... I'd think the more favorable sprung-to-unspring weight ratio would better keep the tires planted on the pavement.

God i love the bom rsx-s. I am actually running some light (14lbs) 17x7 rims on my rx-8 that I pulled of my rsx-s. The handling is actually better than stock but that is mainly because I am using falken azenis rt-615 and they are still 225mm wide tire just like stock rx-8 size, but the difference in acceleration from lighter weight is VERY noticeable.

These would look and fit nicely on a rx-8 even though smaller than stock.
