Midpipe will fit the stock exhaust with modifications... you will need to cut the rear flange off of the stock exhaust and weld it to the end of the new midpipe.

Bump for a good product.

The TXS MP will fit the stock catback, with modification. This is necessary because TXS felt the need to rotate their MP flange (and assumably the mating flange on the catback) about half an inch or so, meaning the holes no longer line up. I simply used a fiberglass cutoff wheel on an angle grinder to cut 2 additional "slots" in the MP flange that line up with the holes in the stock catback flange. Takes about 30 minutes at most to do.

That said, I dont know about it's use with other catbacks, but with the stock catback, it doesnt seem to give much additional power and seems considerably raspy about 3800-4500rpm, pretty subtle at other points.

mine is a newer version of their midpipe, the flange is now rotatable so that it will fit with the stock exhaust system, I will take a pic of it for you guys to see since I have it out of the box already anyways

idk what it would sound like with a Borla, I had one on my car with the stock exhaust and that sounded really awesome, it's probably going to be loud with a 3 inch exhaust though

great price.

the borla exhaust is not one that responds well to catless midpipe if you are NA. The exhaust gets really raspy and sounds like garbage. If you had something like the legamax, it would respond well.

alternatively, you can get a presilencer like the CC insert which is straight through but muffles the sound.

the turbo xs sounds a lot better with midpipe than stock cat.

HOWEVER, the flange to the catback on the midpipe is welded in place. at least thats what i remember, and i just went out and checked under my car and that is definitely what it looks like.

you can do what RR suggested though.
