FS: Winter tires on stock 18"s - Hancook Ice Bear W300s

FS: Winter tires w/ stock 18"s (NOW W/ PICS!!)
SOLD! No longer available.
I am selling a set of 4 Hancook Ice Bear W300 (225/40 R18) winter tires mounted on stock 18" rims. The tires have about 3000 miles on them - practically NO tread wear.
Wheels have some scrapes, but otherwise good condition, and make great winter wheels. (As you can see, the scrapes are around the lip of the wheel - where the tire and wheel meet... there are no scrapes on the spokes.)
I can post/send pictures for truly interested parties. *Asking price lowered to $600.

snow tires of any kind always make a huge different over the stock tires in the snow! I've had these tires before and they are pretty good. Even the hadling and performance isn't too bad for a winter tire.

THis is going to sound stupid... new at this... What are these tires like on the highway without snow Do they still grip well. Other than being noisier, is there a HUGE difference in grip, etc?

Hankook 300s' on Mazda 6
I had these tires, slightly different size, 235-17, I think, on the 6 I just traded on the 8. I loved them. Made the 6 so much better in the snow.
Someone asked about dry roads. I drove them until almost June in Indy (got busy and lazy), lots of dry road time, both city and highway, they handled and wore fine. Really no diff in noise that I could detect over normal wind and stereo. I would recommend them.
I will either get 17" rims and put my old ones on the RX-8 or get this exact tire for mine...I liked them that much.
Hope this helps.
