The TyphoonŽ Air Intake System, for the RX8, looks as well as its performance. The system's intake tube is made of free-flowing, mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum. The system's billet aluminum mass-air sensor adapter is fully TIG welded to the intake tube prior to finishing. Air enters the RX8 TyphoonŽ system through a tapered round K&N FilterChargerŽ.

Note-1: The filter features a high-tech, carbon-fiber cap and carbon-fiber single velocity-stack base from K&N's in-house advanced-composites shop.
Note-2: This system also includes a steel, black-powder coated 3-sided heat-shield, which helps prevent heated air from the rotors to enter the intake tract.
Note-3: Mounting brackets are powder coated black, and all hardware is stainless. Installation simply involves replacing the original airbox and intake tract."

I purchased this off ebay for $307+$20 shipping, it was installed in my car for literally two days before i was forced to sell my rx8 =(
This is a complete intake system and in absolute pristine condition, filter is also pre-oiled and perfect!. I will let this go for $220+$20 shipping. OR Will trade for a Cold air intake for an S2000.
