Gauging Interest: Tein Basic Coilovers (WTT: Koni/S-Tech)
Category: Accessories
Price: $500
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): OK
Item Condition: Used
I'm just curious if anyone is interested in my Tein Basic coilovers. I'd like to switch to a Koni/spring combo if it doesn't mean i have to spend any or much money doing it. Just throwing this out there to see if anyone is interested.
Exact mileage is unknown but its in between 25-30k. They still perform like the day i installed them -- which is quite good. I've been extremely happy with this set up. Like any used suspension part they have nicks and rock chips but my car has always been garaged and rarely gets driven in the winter. I can post pics of them on the car if people are seriously interested.
I'm just looking to try something new so if the interest isn't there or it's going to cost me too much to get a set of used Konis and springs i'll just keep the Basics.
Thanks!

I can't remember how many threads i had left on the shock body when i took this shot but it was probably less than a half inch from the bottom.

I would have to do a trade as the STechs and dspecs are still in my car. But I'm close so if you want to meet and drive my car to see if you like them. I'm down. I'm looking for something stiffer than what mine are. The nice thing about the dspecs is you can adjust the rears while they are in the car. Koni's have to be removed.

I actually have a set of Konis on the way. But I could use your s-techs if you get new suspension. Sadly it would probably be cheaper for you to ship them from Tulsa instead of meeting up. Not sure when the next time I'll be up at Hallett but you should come out some time.
