Gauging intrest: custom sub boxes similiar to 4080
Im parting out my car and was thinking about selling the sub boxes... i got a right and left side... they are currently holds 10w6v2's with about .8 cubic ft (what jl audio recommends) right now they are covered by my false walls and will need to be sanded- primered and painted again but generally they look like this.. (see pics)
its made out of MDF wood (base of the box- sides-front- back is all FG this thing is rock solid.
the box is secured by one screw and a special bolt (forgot the name of it but will be included- essentially its a bolt in a clip) in the place of an old fastener
i will get pics of the current state asap..
current state 150 each 275 for both
some sanding 165- 315 both << basically if you wanna wrap it in some material
sanded and primed 175 each- 325 both
sand and painted 185 each- 340 both
this was custom done by me, i did research before hand and messed around with FG before i actually made the boxes. i know how to sand and prime and prep it well but i am no perfessional painter. though it was my first time i assure you they are well build as i love building various things and quiet handy...
here are the pics when they were first finished
